Honestly,no matter how many times we tried to explain to friends plus family of our stay at Sunset Beach House & Restaurant, we just couldn't do the explanation actual justice. You really need to experience it for yourself. ||||First of all, it's right on the beach.. Second.. It's run by a family and not a management team! We stayed for 7 nights and every day we felt like it was home away from home. We were That comfortable in an instant! From long flights and taxi trips to we are here! Welcomed with Anthonys naturally friendly smile and nature. ||||Thirdly, the food, the cleanliness, the SUNSET Beach views, the day and night ambiences, the comfortable chill areas within the restaurant and on the beach itself, the well equipped spotless rooms, the 24 hour security around the facility just for your added comfort, the stunning little gardens and tea lights in the trees at night whilst walking between the rooms and restaurant, The Friendly and Helpful service including the competitive pricing all-round. The Value for money was almost unreal. We are from South Africa so we SPENDING South African currency .. NOT DOLLARS. FRESH Fish, King, Queen, all types of Prawns,delicious curries, ice cold drinks, live music.. Cool Fans for those hot days and hot nights while sipping on you favorite. The Breakfast Pancakes and coffees were also the perfect start to the day looking over the ocean. ||||There is so much to do and so many activities to choose from all within 300m from the venue. You can even take a short 5 minute walk and get a local haircut, shave and head massage.||||It really was almost that good to be true! A taste of local authenticity at its best. i recently stayed at Sunset Rooms in Anjuna during the off-season, expecting a more relaxed and peaceful experience. Unfortunately, my stay was marred by a lack of support and poor attitude from the host.

As a traveler new to Anjuna Beach, I was looking forward to a welcoming experience and some local guidance. However, the host's behavior was unwelcoming and unhelpful. When I asked for recommendations on local food joints, nearby attractions, and hidden gems, the host seemed disinterested and unenthusiastic.

Given the off-season, I understood that the area might be quieter, but I had hoped the host would be more accommodating and helpful. Instead, I was left to fend for myself, which made the experience even more challenging.

A little guidance on where to try authentic Goan cuisine, how to navigate the local market, or tips on exploring Anjuna's scenic spots during the off-season would have gone a long way.
