This is what we french call "un attrape-touriste". It's just a place to scam tourists. They overcharge, cheat you, and laze around. All they want is to take the most of your money for the less effort: they don't care, their crowd will be coming only once anyway! It is looking good at first sight but we left very angry and disgusted. Doesn't worth it, there are so many places in Goa with nice people, nice food and nice view, don't waste your time and happiness there! Staff is terrible: not taking order correctly, and then trying to scam us by discretly doubling the price of their drinks pretexting a slice of lemon is an expensive extra when every other place in the whole Goa is giving it for free obviously. (I see in another comment below that they called their lemonade a virgin mojito so they could charge 300rps a lemon soda 😂) Also their music is so low volume it's getting mixed up with their 2 neighbour's, so you hear 3 tracks at the same time what a cacophony, one hour there feels like chaos. We tried to order food but never got anything so I don't know about the quality, lol. Finally the last straw: their bathroom has no water only paper. Even that they don't do correctly 🙄 I'll never set foot in this...

Lyn the owner has felt like a connection from the time I met him a year back. He is 'Great energy, chilled & happy' Elephant Beach Cafe, which he owns & runs with his wife is exactly this. The decor is greek colours interspersed with nice whites - lovely!

The Malibu Pina Colada was so refreshing. The best I have ever had. Fresh pineapple & coconut used - perfectly blended in with the stunning view of the ocean, while you sip on it.

The food is home made recipes, a combo of Lyn & his wife's many years of collective experience with consumers: The Shakshuka is a delectable innovation - freshly chopped basil, potatoes & egg in an amazing combo. Every bite of this was a JOY for the soul. The red snapper had a mind blowing flavour & the right amount of spice. It came along with yum wedges placed like a jenga. I love it when chefs do the extra to present a dish over & above conjuring up that perfect taste for the pallate. Hats off!!

& the staff is so sweet & smiling.

Lyn took me around the resort they have behind the cafe - The cottages are so cute with names like namaste etc, some nice spots to chill & has a store too with lots of likeable items. Thank you so much Lyn ! Will be back soon soon. Lots...

I couldn’t help not share “all 5’s” for this Cafe.

While it was absolutely aligned with my concept of a relaxing weekend at Goa, what made this extra special was the food and staff.

This place is indeed a “value for money”. Every single item is economical especially when you look at the potion sizes. We were delightfully taken aback when we looked at the “elephant breakfast” and the potion size. It was way more gigantic than that of an elephant.

The staff took every effort to make us feel comfortable. And even the kids. They brought our order on time, kept asking us if we were happy with the food and also if we needed something else. They even played with the kids before we left.

While my stomach ain’t as huge as that of an elephant, I’m definitely going to give it another shot before leaving Goa ! :) Well done folks !! I’ll definitely recommend you to my fellow mates when...

Nice decor and looks a bit upmarket at first glance... you have to walk through derelict looking “resort” rooms through a narrow path till you hit the cafe sign. Affords some great views of the sea (and the watersports being conducted right in front). Has a fairly comprehensive menu - we stopped for a late afternoon chai and sunset. The grilled chicken sandwich was surprisingly good as was the Balkhani sandwich. Prices are mid range and staff was attentive. The only sore point for us was the blaring music; but keep in mind this is commercial Anjuna with cafes and restaurants jostling cheek-by-jowl for space, I suppose they need to draw in the crowd from the beach in front, so I don’t grudge them that. But for me, this is not the place for a quiet sunset.....

One of the latest additions to the long list of instagrammable cafes in Goa . Elephants beach cafe is located right next to the popular Anjuna beach . This cafe has one of the most beautiful entrance paths in Goa . With coconut trees and dreamy cottages everything is picture perfect . I visited this cafe during sunset and I experienced one of the best sunsets of my goa trip from here . The cafe is super spacious with a very patient staff . We got a table right in front of the beach with a spectacular view of the sunset . The food we ordered was delicious and very good in quantity . The cafe is all and all a great addition and a show stopper for stellar sunsets and is surely an elephant of a cafe 😊.
