Worst experience staying at this place…rooms were dirty and so was the upholstery (see the attached images) No basic amenities (like chair or cupboard or mirror or tea/coffe), TV was there but wasnt working even after complaining many times no one fixed it and yet they charged us 2000 per night. I agreed to pay since the property was close to the beach and all we wanted was to spend alot of time at the beach but there too we were disappointed as the owner or manager whoever it was refused to let us go to the beach and relax since they were having their dj night for all 3 days of our stay there(pls note this is the only way in and out to the beach via the property)…..we being guests were also asked to pay for entry to dj but upon arguments finally one night we were allowed to enter freely….i feel this approach is inappropriate as guests we should be permitted to use the beach and have our own drinks at our convenience specially when we are paying for it and moreover beaches are not private property is what I understand and can be accessed by anyone irrespective of the hotel guest or public unless they have some sort of demarcation or boundaries set at their premises. Overall this place is exorbitantly expensive with no basic amenities or facilities and a rude owner/manager who spoiled my good holiday as the stay was not at all comfortable. If there are any sort of restrictions then it should be communicated before a person decides to stay there and not after the booking is done. Food and liquor is also very expensive here. I am an avid traveller and never have I experienced something like this before. The only good thing about this place is its close to the beach and they have dj nights most...
Read moreNestled right on the edge of Anjuna Beach, Café Lily Put offers a laid-back, bohemian vibe that perfectly captures the spirit of North Goa. With rustic beachside seating, colorful decor, and the soothing sound of waves just meters away, this café is more about atmosphere than formality—and that’s exactly its charm.
The menu is extensive, offering a mix of Indian, Continental, and Goan dishes. Their seafood platter is a standout—freshly caught and grilled to perfection, served with flavorful sides. The wood-fired pizzas are also worth a try, especially the thin-crust options with generous toppings. For breakfast lovers, the English breakfast with fresh juice and coffee is a great way to start your day.
Drinks are reasonably priced, and they offer a good selection of cocktails, beers, and smoothies. The bartender is friendly and happy to mix up something off-menu if you’re in the mood for experimenting. Try their signature "Lily Put Special" cocktail for a tropical surprise.
The service can be a bit slow during peak hours, which is understandable given the laid-back pace of the place. But the staff is polite, and the overall vibe encourages you to slow down and soak in the beachy surroundings rather than rush.
Live music in the evenings adds to the chilled-out ambiance, and the crowd is typically a mix of locals, backpackers, and beachgoers. Sunset views here are absolutely stunning—grab a seat early and you’re in for a treat.
Verdict: Café Lily Put is not about luxury, but about experience. It’s perfect for a relaxed meal by the sea, a few drinks with friends, or just watching the waves roll in. A must-visit if you’re in Anjuna and want a true taste of Goa’s beach...
Read moreWhat a waste of space and time. Me and a couple of friends went to this place today, the view seemed nice and the overall rating was 3.9 on Google. We were told that there was a cover charge today due to a DJ coming in. Here’s what happened next: we got messed up dirty chairs, food spilled on the table and chairs. Had to wait for 5 mins before someone cleaned that up. we got a menu and asked for someone to take our order for about 10 mins. a guy came and snatched the menu from my friend without any explanation and just threw it away in a corner. he protested, and we got a new menu a few minutes later with 20% higher rates. No one had the courtesy to explain / apologize for their behaviour. we ordered a few cocktails and a couple of starters. Got the chicken crispy in 10 mins, drinks about 30 minutes later. And we waited for like 1.5 hours and never got Fish Fingers. Post this we just gave hope and left. While leaving, someone ran after us to ask for the payment. We had paid 3k which was excess of the amount in bill, but were treated as if we were running. Avoid at all costs, they just don’t care about service, quality of amenities and timeliness. Screwed up a couple of hours of our trip today.
A word to the owner: please don’t attack your customers for posting a fair review. Possibly check with the waiter again if Fish Fingers was indeed delivered. The bill was 3270 including Fish Fingers which was 300+, and we had paid 3000. You’re attacking us for not clearing the bill? How sad is that. Not only you didn’t do a good job at serving your customers, you’re now openly lying about it? We have better things to do than fabricating comments on any restaurant....
