Tantra Cafe Restaurant and Beach Huts — Restaurant in Goa

We were there with one more couple. I visited this place on 29th of december 2019. We went there for dinner at around 10. We asked for the menu the guy serving us brought it almost after 15 to 20 minutes, we ordered a bottle of beer, a dessert, and a starter. The guy named MUNNA first gave us just a beer and that to a small bottle instead of large that too almost after 20 minutes. When we said that we ordered for a large bottle he told I WILL HAVE THIS IF YOU DONT WANT. And again took couple of minutes to bring the bottle but this time atleast he bought our other items as well. It made the clock ticks almost 11. After that he directly came to us and said IF YOU WANT TO ORDER SOMETHING ORDER IT NOW ITSELF OTHERWISE RESTAURANT WILL BE CLOSED. We then ordered our dinner and again he took 45 to 50 minutes to serve us. When we poked him about the delay he said DONT TELL ANYTHING TO ME. WHAT WILL I DO IF THEY ARE NOT COOKING FAST. IF YOU WANT TO WAIT, WAIT OTHERWISE THE OPTION IS ON YOU and went. Then with the dinner...

Our group of 7, which included kids ate, dinner one night at Tantra café. Similar to the string of restaurants/shacks lining Patnem beach, Tantra's location is ideal for a perfect view of the ocean/beach while dining. We ordered everything - from drinks , appetizers to main course & dessert. Food was not spectacular but was not bad either, and service was slow (around 30 mins wait time) on a weekday night. Their music was a bit loud for my taste but my toddler and her cousins enjoyed the dance floor for a few minutes.

Overall, the ambience, price tag, location & good staff makes Tantra something to try out...
