⭐☆☆☆☆ “The Hangout… or The Hang-up?” If you enjoy playing a high-stakes game of “Guess Who?” with your dinner, then The Hangout in Goa is your dream destination. Unfortunately for me, I came here expecting a meal, not a thrilling episode of CSI: Lost Orders. It took FIVE different staff members to take our order. That’s right, five. Either they were running an elaborate relay race with our food or this was a social experiment in inefficiency. Then, after all that effort, they delivered my food to another table—where it sat, lonely and abandoned, for a solid five minutes before someone realized the mistake. Because nothing says “fresh and delicious” like food that’s been marinating in confusion and neglect. When I pointed out the issue, I was promptly informed it was a case of “mistaken identity.” Which, honestly, is impressive—because I didn’t realize my meal had an identity in the first place. Maybe next time they’ll serve it in disguise. The only saving grace? The music. Absolutely fantastic. Too bad I had to leave because I wasn’t in the mood to starve while enjoying great tunes. If you’re looking for a place to vibe to amazing beats while testing your patience, The Hangout is the spot. But if you’re hungry? You might be better off making friends with a local street dog—at least they won’t mix up your order.

Everyday of my trip was spent here. Bright and early in the morning we would come here and get good spots on the beds close to the water. We would leave only in the evening when they come to take away the beds. The service might be a bit slow, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. I spent so many hours here that I became several shades darker by the time I got back home. Will certainly visit again.

Very chill place with nice music and a friendly staff, the mix fruit porridge was amazing it had the perfect texture and milk to outs ratio and cooked to perfection, they can do better with the fruits though, fried and roasted papad was crunchy and fun to eat but a bit oily, tried orange and watermelon juices and they were good.

I was going to eat here. Glad I didn't because of the reviews saying the food is poison and makes you sick. Anyway, as I was approaching they started playing mind numbing horrible music very lou,. so loud I had to leave the area. I walked by later in the day and it looked like a very bad bad place to be. Most people there were completely drunk or drugged out of their mind, really very low life people too numb to feel anything. probably attracted by the loud horrible music because they are numb and need it to feel something. sad really. anyway, this place ruins the beach and attracts the...
