The Kitchen Table at Marriot's W-Goa is, without a doubt, a culinary gem that ranks among the finest dining establishments not only in Goa but in all of India. I recently had the privilege of indulging in their Sunday Brunch, and it was nothing short of a lavish, fantastical feast that left me utterly delighted.
As a group of pure vegetarians, we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional taste and quality of the vegetarian offerings. The kitchen truly outdid itself in crafting a plethora of delectable dishes that catered to our dietary preferences. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the innovative, mouthwatering creations left us yearning for more.
Service at The Kitchen Table was equally outstanding, making the entire experience feel like sheer luxury. The attentive and courteous staff added to the overall enjoyment of the meal, ensuring that every need was met promptly and with a warm smile.
The ambience at the restaurant is pleasant, with a spacious layout. While the seating arrangements were acceptable, they didn't particularly stand out. However, what truly set The Kitchen Table apart were the live counters, which offered an interactive and engaging dining experience.
One point to consider is that the buffet is on the higher end when it comes to pricing. While I found it to be a worthwhile investment given the overall quality and experience, it may not be suitable for all budgets.
Additionally, it's worth noting that the Sunday Brunch at The Kitchen Table also grants access to the adjacent pool, which adds a delightful dimension to your dining experience. While it doesn't include access to the rock pool, the opportunity to take a dip in the adjacent pool provides a refreshing and enjoyable way to extend your visit.
Although I regrettably lost the paper where I noted the names of the staff who made our visit memorable, I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the wonderful service we received.
The Sunday Brunch also offers an option to include alcohol at an extra cost, although I can't provide specific details on this. If you're interested, I recommend reaching out to the property to inquire about this option.
Parking was not a problem at all, making access to The Kitchen Table hassle-free.
In conclusion, The Kitchen Table at Marriot's W-Goa is a dining experience worth savoring, especially if you can afford it. The culinary excellence, attentive service, the inclusion of pool access, and the extravagant dessert counter make it a destination that promises to leave you with unforgettable memories of a world-class...
Read moreMy son and myself were at Goa for Sunburn. We decided to explore Hotel W on December 28 for dinner. The reception area and the adjoining restaurant, Woobar were silent with not much activity but the staff were polite, helpful and gave guidance. We were guided to Rock Pool. We had to take a buggy to reach Rock Pool. The crowd at Rock Pool was just picking up. We did not have any reservations and we needed to make an entry. Just as we were entering we were informed that below 18 years are not allowed to the party! I asked for an exception as my son had just turned 15 and the whole Goa trip was to celebrate his birthday. The staff member said he will allow us to sit at a higher deck but cannot allow us to go to the dance floor. We sat for some time and imbibed the ambience along with sea breeze. Rock pool is located by the sea. After some time we felt better to head back to main building. We decided to have dinner at Kitchen Table. The staff are excellent and made us feel welcome. Tushar and Paddy (Padmanabhan) took special care. We had great food, cocktail, mocktail and loads of complimentary ice cream. Being a Bonvoy Marriott member helped us get additional discount also. We were made to feel special. Awesome property and...
Read moreWe were so impressed with the "continental" breakfast every morning. HUGE variety. And not only that, but the service was exceptional. Chef Dawacame over multiple days that we were there to teach us more about indian cooking and also to see how we were liking everything. This individualized approach to what could have been simply eating great food made the experience of waking up and starting our day in Goa even more special. Although all of the food is excellent, the Indian and Pastry chef's are preparing dishes that are truly exceptional and amongst the best examples we have had anywhere in India. We also joined Kitchen Table at night and were very pleased with the Fish Tali, a typical Goan dish. The butter chicken was also excellent. Great service at any time of the day and be sure to look out for Utkarsh and Isteve who went out of their way to greet us every day and make sure we were as happy and well-fed...
