Embarking on a culinary journey at Your Story 🍴
Nestled along the shores of Benaulim Beach, Your Story was a delightful experience that unfolded like a chapter from a storybook. 🏖️
Our gastronomic adventure commenced with the Avocado Salad, a refreshing ensemble of ripe avocados, crisp greens, and tangy vinaigrette that awakened our taste buds with its vibrant flavors.Next up, the Bruschetta, a classic Italian appetizer, impressed us with its simplicity yet depth of flavors. The medley of ripe tomatoes, fragrant basil, and garlic-infused olive oil atop toasted bread slices was a harmonious symphony of tastes and textures. 🍞🥗
Moving on to the mains, we savored the Rava Fried Mussels, a coastal delicacy that showcased the freshest catch of the sea, lightly coated in a crispy rava batter and fried to golden perfection. The Butter Garlic Prawns, another seafood delight, captivated our palates with their succulent texture and aromatic garlic-infused butter sauce. It was a true testament to the restaurant’s mastery in preparing seafood dishes that are both flavorful and indulgent. 🦐🦑
Our culinary journey reached its crescendo with the Mushroom Xacuti, a traditional Goan curry bursting with rich and aromatic flavors. Paired with fragrant rice, it offered a satisfying and comforting meal that left us craving for more.To complement our feast, we sipped on freshly squeezed Pineapple Juice, a refreshing and thirst-quenching beverage that provided the perfect balance to our savory delights. 🍚🥤

Read moreWe wanted to check out Benaulim Beach on our way North from Agonda and have lunch there. Our friend walked in first, the place is big, with loads of tables and she found us a nice, big table, so all of us could have a beach view. There were plenty of people there, with gorgeous dishes in front of them. Almost immediately we got a menu presented and when I asked if we could do a drinks order, the waiter got his little booklet out. Ordering our food was a little more difficult, as our friend likes to study the menu ad infinitum and then ask the waiter for an item that's not on there. This time is was bangers and mash. When we explained what that was to the waiter, he calmly said that the restaurant didn't do that dish. Fish and chips were then chosen and the waiter stayed calm and pleasant throughout that. He repeated our order and left. My wife and I checked out the beach, which was a little smaller than in Agonda. It was beautiful, quiet and clean, with comfy beach beds and umbrellas. Our food, when it came, looked very appetizing and tasted delicious. The seafood salad, the chicken spring roll, my vegetable noodle and salad all first class. When I tasted a chip from my friend's dish, it was a little on the cold side. For desert we ordered banana fritters with icecream, which my wife and I shared with delight, it was gorgeous. I will certainly visit again when I am in the...
Read moreAt sunset, we went to this place because we were attracted by the cozy atmosphere with sofas rather than plastic chairs, like in similar establishments. But that was where the positives ended.
We ordered iced tea, iced coffee, and a brownie with ice cream for dessert. It was absolutely terrible.
First, they brought the drinks. The iced tea tasted like bottled tea diluted with water and extra ice, with wilted mint floating on top. The iced coffee felt like Nescafé 3-in-1 with ice—just awful. We took one sip and set them aside.
Then we waited for the dessert, which turned out to be the biggest disappointment of our entire trip to Goa. They served a sizzling brownie on a sizzler plate, but it had the density of coal and the smell of burnt sugar. The smoke was so overwhelming that we just wanted to run away to breathe.
We told the waiter that the dessert was overcooked, burnt, and inedible. He could clearly see that even the spoon wouldn’t go through that chunk of charcoal, but he chose to say that this was the "intended presentation"—that the bottom layer was meant to be burnt, and we could eat the top. What??
His inability to acknowledge the mistake was astonishing. We didn’t argue, just asked for the bill and left as fast as possible to get some fresh air. But the disgusting burnt smell lingered for...
