2/5 – Disappointed by the Service, Not the Waffle

Visited 99 Pancakes (Vadodara Chakli Circle) late at night with my family (Mehviz & Khadijah) to try out the Naughty Nutella Waffle – priced at ₹159. Taste was decent, but the overall experience left a bad aftertaste.

Firstly, they didn’t accept cards, which is surprising for a known franchise. When I offered cash, I was told to go get change for a ₹500 note – because they had none. This isn’t some small roadside stall, it’s a brand with multiple outlets.

When I asked the staff to escalate this to the owner, she rudely replied, “I’ve never even met the owner.” Very unprofessional. If you’re running a franchise, basic facilities like card payments and trained staff should be standard.

I had to wait so much to give my order as the person was busy handing over sauces to the person making the things

I so heard the person taking orders mention to a customer to go to bhayli branch as some things were for 99 rs there.

Frankly, i did not expect the eagerness or the people behind the counter to serve you. Would i go there again?—— umm not so much, considering the service was not so great.

I would rather order waffles from those new places in town which offer you at a lower cost , has a better quantity, and definitely much more eager...

Great spot for waffles & Pancake maybe even a Pancake are best to Eat. One chocolate Lovely Pancake might be a bit, but it's yummy and fun. Definitely try it! All the pancakes are delicious, no need to overthink it. It's already super popular, so not much to say, but it's perfect for a quick pancake. Fast service too.
