Akshardham Gujarati Thali — Restaurant in Gujarat

I am a Gujarati settled in Tamil Nadu, as a fan of spicy food or not a fan of sweet food, I was very skeptical of trying the generic food in Gujarat because the stereotype that the food is sweet to taste. Naturally I had zero expectations and went to this place to eat the Thali’s that they serve. Also, keeping in mind that I am picky eater, its not very easy to impress me! and oh boy, I was so relieved when I learnt that there are actually options for sweet/spicy food items in the Thali as well! for example there was actually an option for sweet/spicy DAL. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food, the staff, and the varieties of the food in that price point! The owners of the place Mrs. Kinjal and her son (very young btw) who are constantly checking up on you and taking care of every small thing was just amazing! As a consumer you feel very welcomed to the place and the ambience, the place overall is just so good. A very different style of a family centric restaurant that just slots in as a family plan. All these small-small things that actually matter and make your experience worth it. We were confident that we found our GO-TO place when we are here in ANAND,GUJARAT. As of the fast food items like sandwiches and the pizzas we were trying so hard to find a clean place that serves tasty and clean fast food, we just gave up and actually got a business idea to open a sandwich center to bridge the gap that ANAND suffers from. Suddenly we remembered that Akshardham also serves sandwiches and south indian food as well, we went on to try the same and let me tell you these people are the GOATs (greatest of all times) in anand. The Thali’s are perfect, The fast food is perfect and South indian food was also AMAZING! ( keep in mind I am from Tamil Nadu, so i am ought to have certain expectations) I urge you to try this place ATLEAST once if you are around, trust me all the stereotypes shall be broken and this is gonna turn out to be the best in the business. I have not written any other restaurant reviews as far as I know, but this place is worth it. It deserves every recognition it...

When they have started the taste was very good, I was a regular customer. But now entire thing was changed . They appointed new cook and food taste was not good as past. I have suggested management about this matter but I think now they became more professional and don’t care for genuine suggestion. I edit my review after akshardham management response. I would like to explain management that a person will try google review when their suggestion not taken under consideration by management. If management had sincerely taken suggestion under consideration and resolved them or even if tried to resolve , a person will never write review on google platform. After all I m in education field and always looking for solution in place of writing review. If management checked all review precisely many have suggested that quality was good before that and now it is not good.So if management sincerely looking for quality food to serve they have to ask their well wisher customer. Finally I suggest that if u manage your test like before , Akshardham will be the first choice of quality food lover. So those who were your regular customer and now facing quality problem in food , talk to them , give solution and improve your food...

I visited today but honestly they don't have variety in food for what they charge. 320/person. No dahi chat, sabji all with same gravy no green sabji in menu. Guvar bataka( I can find only bataka so not able to identify that was it choli or guvar), whole parvar sabji did not like test , sweet suji halva and sitafal basudi (cheapest option in sweet). Credit card/debit card won't work or they will avoid payment using that method. May be my first and last visit. Won't benifits in long run. Only cleanliness is good so one Star. As a visiter i reserved my rights to write whatever I feel as i visited this place you are no one to teach me my limits as you already crossed your limits in your reply with arrogance. If any business see nagetive reviews first they try to resolve politely but I am happy that I wrote review of one arrogant business owner. Have a good luck.
