I recently had the pleasure of visiting Amiri Khamani, located near Golden Triangle Complex, Sardar Patel Stadium Road, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, and I must say this place truly deserves every bit of praise it has received over the past four decades. Amiri Khamani is not just a food center; it is a living legacy of taste, hospitality, and authenticity. For the last 40 years, this humble shop has been serving the most delightful Khamni that continues to win hearts across generations.

The very first bite of their khamni instantly makes you realize why this place has been so popular for so long. The balance of flavors is simply unmatched – soft, fluffy texture with just the right amount of sweetness, spiced perfectly with green chilies, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and garnished with fresh coriander and sev. It is light, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. It feels homemade yet has the perfection of a time-tested recipe that only true dedication and consistency can achieve.

The owner, Jitendra Bhai, personally looks after the customers and serves with immense love and warmth. His hospitality makes the experience even more special. हाल ही में मुझे अमीरी खमणी, जो सरदार पटेल स्टेडियम रोड, गोल्डन ट्रायंगल कॉम्प्लेक्स के पास, नवरंगपुरा, अहमदाबाद में स्थित है, जाने का मौका मिला। सच कहूँ तो यह जगह अपने नाम और स्वाद के हिसाब से हर तरह से खास है। पिछले 40 सालों से यह छोटा सा सेंटर अपने अनोखे स्वाद और सच्चे अपनापन से लोगों के दिल जीत रहा है।

यहाँ की खमणी वाकई कमाल की होती है। जैसे ही आप पहला निवाला लेते हैं, समझ में आ जाता है कि लोग इसे क्यों इतना पसंद करते हैं। मुलायम दाने, हल्की मिठास, हरी मिर्च, राई, करी पत्ते का तड़का और ऊपर से हरा धनिया और सेव की सजावट – सब मिलकर इसे एक बेहतरीन स्वाद का अनुभव बना देते हैं। यह न सिर्फ हल्की और स्वादिष्ट होती है बल्कि खाने के बाद बार-बार याद भी आती है। ऐसा लगता है जैसे घर का बना हुआ हो लेकिन साथ ही इसमें 40 साल की मेहनत और अनुभव की झलक साफ दिखाई देती है।

यहाँ के मालिक जितेन्द्र भाई का व्यवहार पूरे अनुभव को और भी खास बना देता है। वे हर ग्राहक का बहुत ही प्यार और आत्मीयता से स्वागत करते हैं। उनका बात करने और खिलाने का तरीका यह एहसास दिलाता है कि आप केवल खाने नहीं आए हैं, बल्कि किसी परिवार का हिस्सा बनकर यहाँ बैठकर खा रहे हैं। इतने सालों तक स्वाद और व्यवहार दोनों को बरकरार रखना ही उनकी सबसे बड़ी सफलता है।

सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि इतना मशहूर और पुराना सेंटर होने के बावजूद भी एक प्लेट की कीमत मात्र ₹35 है। आज के समय में जहाँ अच्छा खाना महँगा हो गया है, वहीं अमीरी खमणी बहुत ही किफायती दाम पर वही असली स्वाद उपलब्ध कराता है। यही कारण है कि हर वर्ग का इंसान यहाँ आकर आसानी से इसका आनंद ले सकता है।

It very old and very famous place for khamani. Khamani has unique taste which you can't find anywhere else in Ahmedabad. Crunchiness of sev and a taste of pomegranate seeds makes it lucrative.
