We had been wanting to visit this café for a long time, so today we finally went there to celebrate a special occasion. Based on the reviews we read, we ordered hot chocolate first. As has been the norm recently, there was a scanner through which we had to see the menu and place the order too. We prefer physical menu but it wasn't available. We still feel that keeping things simple is utmost necessary. The hot chocolate was good.
After that, we tried cheese chilli garlic bread, peri peri masala fries, and the Special Appetito pasta. The cheese chilli garlic bread was okay at best. It had a different base than normal, and the cheese topping was good. But overall, it was okay. 2 types of mixed chutneys were served with it. The peri peri masala fries were brilliant. The fries were crispy and the flavour was just how it ought to be. It was served with mixed sauce and mayonnaise. If only both weren't mixed, it would have been even better.
I had a deep craving for Pasta and had read some amazing reviews about the same from this place. Hence, we ordered the Special Appetito Pasta. Alas, it was horrible to say the least. The red sauce was too acidic and the gravy was full of olives, which tastes bad. We could hardly eat 3-4 spoons of Pasta and were utterly disappointed with the taste of it.
Coming to the service, it was really good. The items arrived quickly even amidst the rush and the dishes were freshly cooked and properly made.
The sitting area inside the cafe felt congested. We could have the people at the other table talking and there wasn't much privacy. The chairs were weirdly shaped, with people having long legs struggling to sit properly. The uneven balance between table and chair made for an uncomfortable setup.
There is also lack of parking space for four wheelers. All in all, we feel that it is an overhyped cafe with some good food. The pricing is actually quite fair, given the location and ambience. However, because of the many negatives as mentioned in the review, we would rate...
Read moreA hidden gem for espresso lovers!
Beyond 7 has truly redefined my coffee expectations. Their Special Espresso is a perfect balance of bold, rich, and smooth, with a lingering aroma that makes you pause and appreciate each sip. The crema was beautifully layered, and the taste had a subtle chocolatey hint that paired well with the rainy weather outside.
The café itself is cozy, clean, and has just the right vibe for both quiet work sessions and casual catch-ups. The staff are warm and genuinely passionate about what they serve, explaining the bean origins and brewing method without rushing.
If you love espresso, Beyond 7 is worth every step you take to get there. Highly recommended for your next...
