Bhuvneshwari Khichdi Center — Restaurant in Gujarat

My name is Dhaval, and I would like to share my worst experience at Buneshwari Khichdi Center near PODAR School yesterday during New Year Eve.

Obviously this wasn’t my first visit to Bhuneshwari and so I preferred over New Year with my family expecting good delay due to new year but still had good expectations with Food and Service, while Food was still up to the mark, service made my day worst, like I said, delay over new year was obvious but few things just ruined it all No Menu without 3-4 follow-ups, for 10-15 Min after getting table (while there was good waiting outside). ⁠Main Corse order was taken few Minutes after finishing starters ⁠Khichadi/Rice served way before serving Roti/Sabji (We ended up eating it cold) ⁠Rotla order was messed with Tandoor Roti ⁠Khichu Papad was messed with fried papad (I never got correct order) ⁠Unavailability of Sabji was informed way too late (Change in order again took forever) ⁠Buttermilk was served after completion of meal ⁠Soup/Starter table cleanup was done after 3-4 follow-ups, that too when waiter didn’t find place to serve the food

Overall i felt like i had to manage my own food/table people, in other words was on my own, it took me 1.5 to 2 hours for me to finish my dinner after getting table, my own known once finished before me while they got table after I did.

There was no single point of contact to address any issues, I saw multiple people struggling with different staff directly without having single person...

I came with my family to eat lunch this afternoon. Little did we know that we were in for a surprise! We were welcomed with such kindness and hospitality. The service was amazing I believe that we need service like this everywhere. The atmosphere was welcoming and felt like I was at home. There was free parking and a great selection of food items and desserts. We had the traditional Gujarati thali, Manchurian, Masala Papad, and some yummy mohathal and shrikhand in the traditional flavor and mango. We ordered a few plates and then kept ordering till we ate everything clean. The food was very delicious, clean and tasted delicious. Rakesh bhai was absolutely welcoming, He was very polite and helpful with such sincerity! Overall my family’s experience was absolutely amazing! We will definitely come back again and will recommend this restaurant...

From the moment I entered, I noticed the lack of cleanliness and organization. The portion sizes were big enough , considering the price charged, and the presentation was unappealing.
