I am very foodie. I love to eat and cook. The food gives us energy. Without food, there is no life. There are so many dishes available in today’s world some like Indian foods like Biryani, Dosa, Pav Bhaji, Pani Puri etc whereas some like western foods like Pizza, Burger, Noodles etc. Among the number of food Pizza is my favorite food because it tastes and smells fabulous.
The pizza itself looks so yummy, crispy and so cheesy. There is no better feeling in the world than a warm pizza box on your lap. My love for Pizza is very high. I am always hungry for pizza, be it any time of the day. Cheese is the secret ingredient of any food it makes any food taste yummy. Nearly any ingredient can be put on pizza. Those diced vegetables, jalapenos, tomato sauce, cheese and mushrooms makes me eat more and more like a unique work of art. Every pie is a different shape and size. There are thin crust pies, deep dish pies, and everything in between. There are pies with different cheeses and tomato sauce, or even pies with a completely different base altogether. On every occasion, I celebrate it with pizza style. There are times when I get scolded for having pizza all the time because anything in excess causes harms to our health but a pizza lover will always be a pizza lover. There is something between me and pizza the bond which cannot be broken.
Who can resist a perfectly luscious cheese cake accompanied by their favorite topping or flavor? The cheesecake is a standard dessert in many of today's restaurants, but the making of such a delicacy is not usually held in the average kitchen. This is mainly because of the list of things that could go wrong in the process such as: cracking, overbaking, overmixing, overbeating, shrinkage, browning, and caving. With this many problems one would think that the making of this "perfectly luscious cheese cake" is implausible, but through hard work, patience, and changes in ordinary recipes, an extraordinary cheese cake can be created. One of the most important factors in the perfect cheese cake is its texture. In order for the dessert to have the perfect equality of light fluffiness and denseness that characterizes the cheese cake, one must do three key things. The egg whites must be whipped separately from the other ingredients in the batter then folded in by hand afterwards, but before mixing the second half of the batter, the cream cheese should sit out and become soft to reduce the risk of overbeating and densening of the cake. The batter should be mixed with a wisk, but, as the Joy of Cooking explains, shouldn't have too much air beaten into it or the surface will cave drastically while cooling.(Rombauer, 978) When both parts are wisked together, they should sit over night to ensure that the cheese cake will turn out...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a true Italian culinary experience in Surat, Capiche is a place that should be high on your list. Nestled inside a modern glass-fronted building, this beautifully designed eatery offers an aesthetic ambiance with warm lighting and a welcoming vibe from the moment you step inside.
I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The food truly speaks the language of authentic Italian flavors. I tried their creamy green sauce pasta which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — the sauce clung to each rigatoni piece just right. The pizza slice I had was thin-crusted, slightly charred for that perfect bite, and topped with fresh ingredients like crunchy onions and spicy red chilies, delivering both a punch and a satisfying crunch.
To accompany our meal, we sipped on a refreshing lemon soda served in a tall, classy glass — simple but incredibly rejuvenating. The service was attentive, and the menu had a well-curated mix of novelty pizzas, classic pastas, sides, and dips.
Outside, a vintage sports car was parked, adding a unique, upscale touch to the whole vibe of the place. The atmosphere was chic yet casual — great for dates, get-togethers, or just a nice evening out.
Overall, Capiche blends great food, ambiance, and style effortlessly. It’s more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience that Italian food lovers in Surat...
Read moreWhen I visited the place, it was so much hyped in my mind due to their social media posts.
First impression was excellent, the interior is amazing.. Concrete exposed walls paired with nice floor, tables are specious with live kitchen on a corner which is also I guess a mocktail bar set-up.
Their pizza menu has good options with toppings like feta cheese, aragula, etc which you'd not find at routine places.
One problem is the large size pizza. We were two people and had to take large 12" pizza which left us with no other choice.
The pizza was thin crust. Edges were good and maybe sprayed with olive oil. Base was a little loose and their toppings were not generous. In a large slice, I was hardly able to pick a chunk of feta cheese. There were zucchini slices which didn't went that well as topping.
Overall taste was good but it is overpriced. Large pizza is ₹800 regardless of what's put upon it.. all toppings cost you same.
Other items in menu like fresh lime soda is ₹249 which is a lot from the standards of a semi metro city.
Other odd thing was the aluminium serving lid. In such a decorated restaurant, pizza arrived on an aluminium lid. Which surprising.
Washroom and kitchen entrance are adjacent which seemed little off especially when I saw unfolded pizza boxes lying there.
Overall it's a very well designed and well thought space, it's...
