Chai Wai — Restaurant in Gujarat

Date: 30th March 2024 This time we ordered capsicum cheese toast, adarak elaichi, classic coffee, handwa and dhokla. Everything was delicious but dhokhla was average. Ate peacefully. Classic coffee was also strong and perfect. Got seat easily as it was not a peak hour.

Date: 16th Dec 2023 We ordered regular poha, handwa, adarak mug chai and toast as in pic. I would not say anything about price. But, quantity of poha and pieces of toast were less than as they should be. Handwa and adarak chai was perfect as always. They have brought new menu which is good for them. Wall colours are still not in good condition.

Date : 26th March 2023 Visited in afternoon. Ordered Veg upma, adarak elaichi chai(in mug) and handvo. Upma quantity and quality was not as it should be(less salt). Chai and handvo was good as always. Suggestion to chai-wai is add some new varieties in menu and atleast get a new menu, as it is torned and doesn't suits you. If possible colour your walls too.

Date : 29th Jan 2023 Ordered Handvo, Garlic Bread Toast, Wheat Maska Bun and Adrak elaichi chai. Evening spent well with delicious quick snacks for a break

Visited for the second time and this time i ordered adarak chai and handwaa. Chai was fantastic as i was feeling cold and cough so adarak chai helped my throat a bit. Handwa, yes it was soft and you can feel as it dissolves in your mouth. Place is usually crowdy but they try to serve your order as soon as possible. Sitting is uncomfortable and there no appropriate place to park your vehicle. Overall best to pass time and chatting with friends.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Chai Wai – Maninagar Outlet

Visited this outlet today with a friend for a work discussion and chose this place thinking it would offer a calm and respectful environment. We ordered a tea and sat with our laptops to work. After about 30 minutes, we ordered a hot chocolate.

Shockingly, a staff member approached us and rudely told us to use only one table — even though we were just two people, using one table for the laptop and the other for comfort. We adjusted without argument.

Later, when we went to place another order, we were told: “We’ll take your order, but after 20 minutes you’ll have to leave the table as we’re giving it to another customer.”

This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional, it’s absolutely unacceptable. We were paying customers, not just sitting idle. The attitude and tone of the staff were outright disrespectful. No courtesy, no customer focus — just a pathetic experience overall.

If someone from the Chai Wai team is reading this, please take this feedback seriously. You’ve just lost two potential regular customers. I’d definitely not recommend this place to anyone who values...

I recently visited with my friend. First time of any Chai Wai outlet. Not too big place. But enough for small groups.

Interior was not so impressive. They should work on interior and seating arrangements.

We ordered 2 ginger tea ☕️ and 1 Bombay Sandwich 🥪. We waited for almost 25 mins for this and honestly when it came it was vey disappointing. Sandwich has no taste. And same about tea. It’s nothing like ginger tea.

We heard name of Chai Wai but never tried it and want try it. But that didn’t match our expectations. And I think we paid too much for this level of taste.

I didn’t like it. Please visit once if you still want to try. And this experience review was only for this outlet. Other Chai Wai outlet’s experience might be different.
