GHEE GUD (Exclusive) MANINAGAR — Restaurant in Gujarat

One of the worst restaurant.

Reasons behind :-

1. They don't have any parking facility.
2. They don't have any manager or person to take care when there is waiting. They ask customer to take their Menu having contact details and call from front standing down to check their turn which is really ridiculous, it's their responsibility to call customers when they are in queue.
3. They don't have proper waiting area as customers are standing on stairs for their turn.
4. They don't keep doormat near washing area nor hand dryer and whole washing area is dirty not at all cleaned.
5. coming to food part - worst food I had ever had in Gujarati kathiyawadi cuisine. A) Their daal n kadhi is extra sweet lot of sugar. Please serve the purpose of Gujarati daal kadhi. B) Their sabzis are written as seasonal but they are actually badly tasted. Sew tomato sabzi I think they need to learn how it is prepared and served in this level of restaurants. C) Lasaniya Bataka their was lot of oil, no salt and lot of red chilli powder but there was no taste of Garlic in it which was pathetic. D) Gatte ki sabzi - Gatta was too hard to eat. E) Fruit Custard was nt at all chilled. Same with buttermil it was not chilled or cold. F) Bhajiya were too oily. G) Chatnis section it was just like for the sake of keeping and counting the dish they add unnecessary chatnis n pickels which were rotten. H) We need to call them for rotis which is not done. They need to see that customers are waiting for rotis. I) Sweet section they need to keep it chilled as if it's not chilled they don't serve the purpose. J) Dry motichur laddu. K) special ghee gud rice - pls try to cook as the name specify.
6. They don't have facility for more than 6 seater table which they need to inform before and if they are not able to accomodate then they need to join the tables. Also their tables are not properly cleaned before handing over it to customers.
7. Not at all customer friendly, just had opened to sell their 101 items and hardly you will be able to eat 5 items which are tasteful.
8. Kindly focus on your customers rather than just selling plates and charging 360 rupees per dish. Which is not at all worthy. There are restaurants serving better food compared to this that too at less cost. Please do proper survey.
9. Not a single time any of their serving staff had come to ask did their customers need anything which is not atall done.
10. I will not at all recommend this restaurant to any of the customer who need to have quality food and service. Not worthy the cost.

My last words on review part - " If someone takes you for free let me quote in Gujarati mafat ma laijai koi to be na jaway atlu pathetic service and food quality."

I rate them 1 just because of all these issues.

This is message to the restaurant Manager.. There is variety of food to eat. But food quality is poor and like average.. quality should be keep in mind instead of number of items.. 101 items is non sense idea to serve.. approx 30 items are pickles 15-20 items are salad..10-15 items are shreekhand and 5-6 items are snacks and 5-6 items are like pani puri, bhajia, samosa , jalebi, bhel etc.. This is not a place to eat hygiene food.. actually we have to take food every time and its a buffet system.. this is a place to visit one time only ..and i am confident that very few people will visit next time only .. Actually there is no specific and special items to serve by ghee good.. I have visited there by seeing video on you tube but found very bad 😞 experience.. actually this place has nice ambience. But very rush to eat food here. Very noise by public... And we should go there by luring 101 items. And think logically who eats 101 items.... There is no sense.. Earlier in this place there was mehmaan which is closed now...and it is ghee gud...and now we don't think it will continue for long term..

There should not be buffet system and less items having delicious taste.. If you are going to eat delicious food then this place is not for you... Its for people who have never seen many items. Just like offering 101 items..but people are not idiot they will understand after visiting once..

Its a joke and foolish thing to offer 101 items... And why they charge in advance ..which restaurant charges in advance ..?? And wearing band is a bad idea. .this is not a waterpark or zoo to fix band on hand..

Just serve tasty food 😋..not variety of items which is non sense..

Only restaurant who serves delicious food and different in taste can survive in the...

Excellent place to dine in………. LETS START THE JOURNEY First of all one of the finest interiors ever seen in a restaurant, the vibes r vey positive……….

The staff is very well dressed . A very warm welcome on entry. Makes u feel special

Then as per their regulations bands r tied on hand and payments r taken( which r very nominal as compared to the food item provided inside)

When we entered their buffet , I was amazed to see such a vast one with so many varieties

We had many starters which included soup , paneer rolls, canapés, sev puri, dahi wada, and many others

We had Chas’s and other many drinks to follow

The starters had great taste and the staff r always there to take care of you, this gives u a special feeling

There main course is outstanding consisiting of many varieties of sabji, sweets are extravagant,

Overall an evening full of variation of multi cuisine food at GHEE GUD ( MANINAGAR)

LOVED IT AND WOULD ALWAYS PREFER TO VISIT...
