Average food, terrible service.
First of all, service - terrible to say the least. It seemed fine in the beginning. The waitress was helpful. However, when we asked for ketchup (since we had kids along with us), the tables turned. The restaurant apparently has a policy that they don’t serve ketchup. Because it’s not authentic to have ketchup with Pizza. I’ve been to really nice and fancy Italian places in India and around the world, but never have I ever experienced this.
The worse is yet to come. Since we had kids along with us, and they really wanted ketchup with pizza, we managed to get some sachets from a neighbouring restaurant. The head chef got super offended. He told one of his staff to summon someone from our group to him. I couldn’t believe what just happened. Anyways, we asked the waiter to ask the chef to see us, but he didn’t come.
When settling the bill at the billing counter, we encountered the head chef. He started arguing with us that you didn’t respect the restaurant policy and got ketchup from outside. We don’t want our patrons to have ketchup. And literally told us that we’re not invited in his restaurant again (of course we’d never want to go back after such an experience).
I can understand that the chef doesn’t want his patrons to have ketchup with his pizza, but if that’s the case and he’s so particular about it - they should mention it as a rule to get inside. Else they should be accommodating enough to not be offended if someone gets their own ketchup. And it’s another low to cover this whole thing with - “you can’t get outside food”. Ketchup isn’t food. Ketchup is just ketchup.
Coming to the food itself. It was really average. One of the pizza we had tasted well, but the toppings were so liquidy that the crust almost melted into the toppings and we were left with an edge crust that was thick, crispy and nice, while the whole centre part was sort of a porridge in itself.

Read moreWe r regular visitor at gusto's since we have stopped eating crap in the name of pizzas at many other places. For the sake good quality especially for our kid and well who just loves pizzas, we prefer and suggest for having pizza's from or at Gusto's !
But something unpleasant happened in last visit i can say for sure... Food was all good as always but this time its about there customer service & absoulate lackness towards customer hence we were highly disappointed 💯
We ordered a combo of 8 inch pizza, which includes cheese tasca n a 250 ml beverage. At fisrt we received a wrong pizza than what was actually ordered, so we denied to accept and further communicated to upgrade the pizza size from 8 inch to 12 inch.
What happened next was the staff tried to served a cheese tasca once again, we denied it & conveyed that we had received it already. And, finally almost after 45 of mins we got our 12 inch pizza. The waiter already conveyed us when we got our table that they r in shortage of staff n chefs today n we being a regular customer with a smile said its ok 👍🏼
After a fantastic dinner we got our invoice, they charged 1100 + Tax for an 8-inch combo +,Flat 900 for a 12-inch pizza.....? ok fine, but they didn't had that courtesy to parcel or even ask if we want the parcel of the food which we had sent back in good spirits and yet they billed for all of it. Way too disappointed atleast from a place like this !
We weren't first timers to visit gusto's and it was there mistake while taking wrong order as well as giving n communicating about the upgrade with clarity. Atleast have an audacity to parcel the stuff for the customer for which u gave a bill.
When we had a dinner at Dubai - Armani, Burj khalifa, even those people had a courtesy to ask to parcel the leftovers ! Whereas here we are not talking about leftovers !!
Hope the owner takes this in...
