I visited New Bombay Pav Bhaji on Drive-In Road, Ahmedabad today for lunch and had a deeply disappointing experience. The pav bhaji served to me was clearly unhygienic — something that no responsible food outlet should ever allow to reach a customer.

When I raised the issue, instead of preparing a fresh dish, they simply took the same bhaji back, refried it on the tawa, and tried to serve it to me again in a different dish — thinking I wouldn’t notice. That’s not just unprofessional — it’s blatant disregard for customer health.

Only when I pointed this out did they apologize and take it back, promising it won’t happen again. But honestly, how do you trust someone who tries to cover up the same mistake twice — especially when it comes to food and health?

Disappointing Experience at Bombay Baji Pau

I recently visited Bombay Baji Pau in Ahmedabad and had a very disappointing experience. We ordered the veg pulav, but when it arrived, it was not very hot. To make matters worse, the onion they served had hair in it, which was extremely off-putting.

The service was also subpar. Despite the waiters being long-time staff members, their service was very poor. They repeatedly greeted us with “Happy Diwali” in an obvious attempt to pressure us into giving a good tip, despite their third-class service.
