Exploring local food of Ahmedabad..... trying authentic mughlai cuisine at Noorani Bara Handi which is believed to be 200 year age-old legendary resturant..... As it's been managed by 5th generation now.....
This age-old legendary Tawa is placed in the center of Kalupur Tower-Darwaza Road and is famously known for it's chicken and mutton curries. Their Must-Have specialities include GREEN CHICKEN, CHAAP FRY, MUTTON KEEMA, MUTTON TIKKA, and MASALA CHICKEN KHICHDI.
They don't feature a menu as such, the highlight of this Tawa is that they can prepare any cut of meat of your choice in any gravy that you might crave. While Asu serves the curries, the Chapaatis and Tandoori Rotis are rolled at Bara-Handi along-with the TANDOORI CHICKEN and PAAYA. Yes, you can get your mouths to the all special Paaya right here!!
The chef doles out some of the best dishes in a jiffy with all his prepared gravies and the taste is unquestionably awesome. We assure you that this Tawa will give you THE best experience of non-vegetarian street food that you will ever come across in Ahmedabad....

However, the Mutton Handi didn't quite live up to the same standard. While the mutton was decently cooked and soft, the flavors felt a bit underwhelming compared to the White Chicken. It lacked the depth of spices and richness that one might expect from such a traditional dish.
Overall, Nurani Barah Handi offers a great experience for non-veg lovers, especially if you’re craving something authentic. I would certainly return for the White Chicken but might explore other options instead of the Mutton...
Read more@Noorani The most recommended spot to get a non-vegetarian Sakee food dish at Bara Handi style food restorent. You will only be able to get this dish if you arrive at the appointed hour. While there are other excellent non-vegetarian dishes, Sakee and Paya are on the top. which are served hot, coal-fired bhatti tandoori naan.
One of the older traditional restaurant concepts is bara handi cuisine, which consisted of preparing a few different dishes on a regular basis for a fairly reasonable price. It is ideal for working peoples at that time. But right now, foodies are the most interested in it.
Families shouldn't visit because they don't have the right seating arrangements. However, any guy who enjoys cuisine and isn't focused on ambiance should to visit here. The staff members are all very helpful, and service is usually provided quickly.
