PRASADAM offers an authentic Gujarati culinary experience that’s both delightful and comforting. The moment you step inside, the warm and welcoming ambiance immediately sets the tone for a great meal. The décor is simple yet elegant, reflecting the cultural essence of Gujarat.
The food is the real star here. The thali is a must-try, offering a variety of traditional Gujarati dishes like dhokla, bhajiya. Each dish is flavorful and prepared with care, balancing the sweetness and spices typical of Gujarati cuisine. The farsan (snacks) served as starters are light and appetizing, making for a great start to the meal.
What truly stands out is the freshness of the ingredients and the authenticity of the flavors. The rotis and bhakris are served hot, and the sabzis are seasoned perfectly. The Gujarati kadhi is smooth and comforting, and the chaas (buttermilk) is refreshingly good. The desserts, particularly the Rasmalai and kalajamun , are rich and satisfying, ending the meal on a sweet note.
Service at Prasadam is prompt and courteous, with staff members who are attentive and eager to serve the Gujarati cuisine. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for money.
The only reason for withholding a full five-star rating is that the restaurant can get quite crowded during peak hours, leading to a bit of a wait. However, the wait is well worth it for the quality of food you receive.
Overall, Prasadam is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Gujarati food. Whether you’re a local or someone new to Gujarati cuisine, this restaurant is definitely...
Read more⭐ 1/5 – Extremely Disappointing Experience at a So-Called “Premium” Restaurant
We were a group of 10 people who visited Prasadam for lunch, paying ₹550 per head expecting a premium dining experience. Sadly, what we got was one of the worst restaurant experiences ever.
From the moment we started eating, within just 10–15 minutes, staff began hovering around us, rushing us to finish. It felt like they were standing on our heads, constantly saying “ye le lo, wo le lo” and then suddenly “ho gaya ho gaya” — without even giving us a fair chance to enjoy our food. My daughter had barely started eating when they were already clearing plates.
I understand it was Raksha Bandhan and there could be a crowd, but if you call yourself premium and charge ₹550 per person, basic dining etiquette and proper management should be expected. This was pure mismanagement.
The “unlimited” tag felt like a joke — so many items listed, but only 2–3 were actually being served proactively. The rest you had to keep asking for, and even then it felt rushed and forced.
Yes, the crockery looked nice, and the food was okay-ish (nothing outstanding), but definitely not worth ₹550 for such a hurried, uncomfortable meal. If this is your idea of premium service, I would rather go somewhere simpler, enjoy my food in peace, and get far better value for money.
Bottom line: If you actually want to enjoy a meal, skip Prasadam. You’re better off...
Read moreI’ve been at this place for at least 6 times first 3 times it was a nice experience the staff was so nice to me and all but those last 3 times were the worst it’s like they started to ignore you . I’ve asked for chat like 4 to 5 times and still the manager came and asks “ aur kya mangvau sir? “ bring me my basket chat naa, and it’s not like the restaurant was full or something there were 6 to 7 tables were empty and the staff was just talking with each other in front of my table cause they gave me a corner table. Which was not an issue. Yesterday i was eating and in the menu there was anguri basundi and mohanthal , a dal guy came and without even asking he gave me kadhi and dal both in my plate i was waiting for basundi but it never came so i asked the manager where’s basundi ? He replied there’s no basundi today i was like you guys mentioned it in a menu na and even i saw thier staff taking basundi in another table at that very time so i pointed out and said whats that ? Then he said yes yes we do have basundi. And ran away. So are they trying to scam me? I don’t know but the quality of the food was also not good I barely eat mohanthal and basundi was also not good plus the welcome drink was also stale i guess cause it tasted very bad , so i do not recommend this place i mean my first experience was good but if i am paying you approx 500 for a plate i do expect same service...
