I had a very disappointing experience at La Benito recently. We ordered garlic bread and pasta, but with the very first taste, we realized something was off with the flavor. We informed the waiters and the manager about it, clearly mentioning that the pasta was not up to the mark and needed to be replaced. While they agreed to change the dishes, what followed was extremely unsatisfactory.
Due to an emergency, we had to leave the restaurant and requested the food to be packed for takeaway. However, when we opened the parcel at home, we found that they had only packed a small portion of pasta from the main serving bowl, instead of preparing a fresh portion as promised. The quantity was inadequate, and the taste was still not up to standard.
Although the garlic bread was replaced, it did not meet the usual quality expected from La Benito. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially considering the prices charged.
I’m sharing this feedback so that others are aware and cautious about the quality and service before dining in or taking parcels home. I hope La Benito takes this feedback seriously and improves its service for...
Read moreAverage food preparation with service below average. While the tomato soup was a disaster, even the Nachos couldn't hold my children's interest for too long. Both orders for children were a disappointment. The manager more than eager for us to finish and leave, quite understandably on a busy Friday night, we should just gobble the food and let the next customer walk in, whatever happened to having a relaxed evening dinner at a restaurant on a Friday night. 'Aur kuch lagega kya' for a moment I thought I did not hear it right (Reminded me of a road side dhaba) but my wife's expression confirmed that my ears were doing ok. He did not even bother to wait for a second for us to answer the question that was asked in the most crude manner. I was just not in a mood to make a fuss or get into an argument with the restaurant management hence I called for the cheque, paid the dues and walked away... The only saving grace for the night was the Mushroom soup and the Mexican Burrito Bowl that has compelled me to not give a two or one...
Read moreLa Benito has been my favorite for a long time. But I had not visited the place since the start of the pandemic. When I found a lot of negative review on Zomato, I was a bit sceptical as I wanted to make it a memorable experience.
Took the chance and did not get disappointed. Went for lunch to avoid the evening rush and found a table even on a Saturday.
They took utmost care and stuck to the COVID guidelines. The ambience was cozy and chic.
I had Cheese Bruschetta, Italian Fondue and Corn Cheese and Chillies Sizzler. Also ordered Ginger Lime Ale and Coffee Mint Julep to wash everything down.
Bruschetta was amazing and Fondue brought back old memories of days spent with friends. The bruschetta was crisp, the exotic veggies were fresh for the fondue and the cheese was thick and creamy.
The sizzler was ordered with Spaghetti base and it was... well "Sizzling". The taste was not too intense and perfectly balanced. I was too full to opt for dessert.
Shall definitely try my other favorite dishes when I visit...
