Ram Aur Shyam Golawala — Restaurant in Gujarat

Was in a hurry so went to this place which is nearer to my home as compared to my favourite one..

Had 2 Golas, one simple one(Rs. 80) and one higher priced (Rs. 150). Now to anyone reading this, you can only know the difference if you really have tasted good Golas in Rajkot. Go to any Golawala like Ramkrupa (my fav), Azad Hind, Natraj, Bhavani (higher priced), etc. you can see the difference in taste. Here i think they literally just put a spoonful of malai (creame) and little dry fruit. This is just in comparison to good choices available in the town.

Do skip going here. The person who makes Gola should taste their competitors Gola and must learn how to make one..

Wouldn't suggest to anyone of my relatives or friends or the person reading this to have Gola over here.

Don't waste your money here, go to any one of the above...

Rajkot is quite popular for its gola and when gola comes to mind only one place we shout and that is Ram aur Shyam. This place serves awesome flavorsome gola since long and need to mention that they didn't loose their consistency. Even now, their gola are best and have no competition. You guys rock! you deserves all the good wishes. 5 stars for all...

Unaalo chhe, after dinner thodi ichha thai k kaik thandu khaie. So I went out looking for some good dessert when I came across this. I ordered 3 color gola and told the guy specifically to not put any malai or maavo. He deliberately filled my gola with maavo and it tasted worse.

I had to throw away about ¾ of the whole thing. I'd never be coming down here...
