Gola had been the dessert choice for many people, especially in the city of Rajkot, however, with the passing time, this Dish Gola has become the meal for some ☺️☺️ due to the larger quantity of dryfruit and the amount of cream (malai) that goes into it.
I love having Golas time and again, especially in the summer, however today I had a huge craving for it, which took me to Jay Bhavani.
This place has always come up with new varieties of Golas and has improvised a lot with regards to the quality of cream, dryfruit and overall presentation of the dish.
My observation is that it takes comparatively longer time for their Golas to melt to water form. I don't know how they do it, but it's pretty amazing job 👍👍, and that's the reason one tends to enjoy the dish without being worried of Golas to loose its hard form.
CUSTOMER SERVICE The staff seems to have good knowledge about what they are selling and are pretty quick in serving the dish.
I really want to see some new varieties in Golas. Perhaps they should think of making...
Read moreThe staff and owner are too rude, the prices are too high and even after paying high prices they will not add the topping you asked for, if you like the combination of mixed flavour gola with freezing chocolate topping, they will not let you unless you order a butterscotch flavour or chocolate flavour. Even if you pay extra for extra topping, even if you like your gola flavours combined that way with sweet and sour combination, these people will not let you eat flavours of your choice, with your money, into your own body. Even if you ask them politely they rudely say chamge the flavour and will serve the topping but not on the flavour of your choice. I mean "Cadbury" as an international chocolate making company will make chocolate of your suggestion/choice, but these people will not even after being a small local golawala, serving gola costlier than a big bar of Cadbury. Eat Cadbury. Ditch these people. Rajkot has much better places to offer desserts of your choice. That too without any...
Read moreHaving heard so much buzz about this place, I decided to visit one evening, arriving around 8 to 8:30 PM. As I glanced through the menu, I was taken aback by the steep prices, specifically, the malai gola, which was listed at a staggering 350. Another topped with dry fruit variation was priced at either 400 or 450, though I can’t recall the exact amount. Intrigued and hopeful, I opted for a Cadbury chocolate dessert, expecting something special given the price tag.
When it arrived, however, I was disappointed. The dessert was merely a base of chocolate syrup with no chocolate chips, nuts, or any embellishments to enhance the flavour. It was overwhelmingly sweet, lacking the depth I had anticipated. Considering the price of 350, I truly didn't find it worth the cost. Overall, my experience didn't meet my expectations, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for good...
