House of Size Zero — Restaurant in Gujarat

The review is based on my first visit to House of Size Zero.

The reasons for giving three stars 🌟🌟🌟 to this place are justified and explained well below.

ABOUT WASHROOM 🤫 The photo of 'Washroom' that I uploaded is not giving me good indication of a family restaurant. I know the restaurant has tried to be creative by pasting a photo of Kiwi 🥝 for Women, and Banana 🍌 for Men on the Washroom door, however many will consider this as vulgar if not me. These two pictures independently highlight nothing of any vulgarity, but when posted on the door of Washroom clearly depicts the genitals of female and male. Now some may think that this is ok, some might take it as offensive. And even if only 1% of customers think it as vulgar, please take it down because this will not create good reputation. Nevertheless, I want to know from the restaurant's creative owner that "What motivated them to create such depiction of people's personal parts to just tell public that this washroom is both for men and women?" 🙄🤔

ABOUT FOOD I have got mixed experience with food. I ordered Pull Apart Garlic Bread, Mexican Sandwich, American Grilled Sandwich.

Garlic Bread - Loved the garlic bread. It's innovative and tasty. 👍👍. Must try.

Mexican Grilled Sandwich - Very few places which offer Mexican Sandwiches in Rajkot that provide closer to authentic Mexican taste and I believe, this sandwich is one of them. 👍

American Grilled Sandwiches - This sandwich killed my mood and spoilt my tasty mouth. It is basically a mixture of all vegetables and was very dull in taste. It was not unique and tasty as compared to other restaurants in the town. 👎. Better to order cheese vegetable sandwich which was cheaper than this and could be tastier.

ABOUT PRESENTATION This restaurant was very well on point when it comes to presenting the food. Job well done on this. 👍👍👍. I observed almost every dishes that were served all across tables and I was impressed with the way a chef was presenting the food. Good presentation of the food creates the very first impression of food positively in customer's mind and that's how the experience with food begins. Both visual and touch sensories need to be satisfied. Again, job well done.

ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE Hmm, this is confusing. Customer service has many aspects, such as greetings, the way of serving food and beverages, the remembering or nothing down customers order in order to serve them better and the like. There wasn't any greetings 😔. The food serving was good ☺️. The manager and server on the floor didn't note down my orders and that's why they didn't keep track of my food items and hence every new server came up to me and asked me whether anything is missing to serve me out my orders. This doesn't leave good impression on customers's mind especially when they are bothered/disturbed during meal time.

AMBIENCE The place offers soothing and calm atmosphere that many many restaurants have failed to provide in Rajkot. Loved the ambience and sitting arrangements. Good depiction of Greece. 👍👍

This place can do a lot better. I hope my next visit would be closer to 5 starts. ☺️. All the best guys....

An effort to create a cool heap cafe which has been to some extent successful.

The place is located on amin marg in between k krunchy and taj resturant. Its a house turned into cafe. Interior is good enough seats are comfy when you take sofa seats. Staff needs lots of training. Table setting, accessories and concept is pretty good. The highlight was tic-tac game on each table so that ur nt bored while u wait for food.

Now they have wooden tables with elaborated menu which consists pizza, burgers, pasta, baked dish, lasagne, sizzler, sandwich, shakes, cold beverages but.... they have a name restro cafe on top and do not serve espresso, black coffee or even normal hot coffee which was very disappointing and only reason not thinking of going there again.

Ordered fries which were served in aluminium box which was unique, also the swiss choxolate coca was served in a glass soda bottle.

Ambience was okai but staff needs to wait till customer is done. Once we were done with fries n sandwich, we called the server n he asked bill? That was very rude and we had called him to order swiss choco shake.

Over all not a bad place to treat friends, cozy snacks,...

the service is despicable to start with. the service staff's only courtesy is that they attend to the dog better than the customers, whose orders they often forget. the kitchen is not equipped to handle orders greater than 3, evident from the fact that groups only get orders in multiples of 3, with huge gaps in between. it approximately takes them 30 minutes to make a sandwich. they have tried to spruce up the ambience with witty quotations that gather an occasional chuckle, but have downgraded it by having a freely roaming dog which is a nuisance and a health hazard at best. their new arrangement is obnoxious where their owner has his cabin right next to the largest sitting hall, and has the audacity to ask his rude waiters to come and hush the customers in the room citing reasons like- the owner is getting disturbed. the food quality is deteriorating by the day, with portions getting smaller each time. because of its structure, there is no air circulation and parties in the other room often seem too loud. the place has sadly...
