The worst experience we had when we ordered Panjabi Food at Sasumaa's so-called Multi Cuisine Restaurant.
Points: It is not a Multicuisine restaurant per se as they don't let you order Panjabi food and Gujarati on the same table for different family members. There is two separate seating arrangement for both cuisines so this is technically two different restaurants in one big place. or we can say they used extra space in opening the Panjabi restaurant.
We earlier had tried Gujarati food there and we were happy with the taste so, unfortunately, thought to try their Panjabi food also which was a very wrong decision.
Starting from the soup. almond broccoli soup was very sweet in taste almost like sugar syrup and had green fluorescent color which must be made by using food coloring.
Harabhara Kabab was only cooked from the outside and uncooked from the inside.
Sabjis were also half cooked and had raw (Full/un-powdered) garam masala which should be used in crushed form so that we should not take it out now and then while eating.
Most horrifying thing happened when plastic a thread came in Roti. very shocking!!
When we sat at the table it was having dust on it. The crockery used is low-quality plastic and not properly cleaned.
In spite of the Manger informed about the plastic thread in the roti to the owner, he was not bothered to come to us and apologies. which clearly shows that the restaurant is just focusing on money instead of taste, quality, and relations.
Suggestion to Hotel: Focus on Gujarati Thali only otherwise your other cuisines will impact your that business also. If the place is too big for only Gujarati Thali rent it to other restaurants that can run a good business. and have good staff, in addition to that, being the owner of the restaurant stand up from the counter in case of any problem and most important RESPECT...
Read moreOne of the worst restaurant I have found ever in Vadodara in terms of my experience, they make client fool.
We have bene their with some of the family friends and we ordered soups, starter and main course.
We have order lemon corridor soup, it was worst in taste, we jave complaint, they have just tried some changes in some soup (not even tried to make new one) and they served again which was again worst and then we finally ordered some other soup which wasted our time and mood, they are not able to make lemon corridor soup.
I have ordered crispy Butter nan, and they have served Jali hue Nan (picture attached), after complaint they changes but again given the jali hua nan.
Post which we have also complaint to the owner on the franchise and he said it's like that only, and we make such crispy nan in such way only.
No one was having curtusy to accept their mistake and which complaint they were as adamant.
I must tell you even their services are also very pathetic.

Read moreI visited Sasumaa's with a large group of 25-30 people for a special occasion. The restaurant offers three food options: unlimited Gujarati thali, unlimited Punjabi thali, and a la carte. We tried all three options as we had different preferences for food. The food was good, from the welcome drink to the ice cream. They maintained quality with quantity.
The only problem we faced was that they have a policy that Gujarati and Punjabi unlimited thali customers have to sit in separate areas, so we could not sit together as a group. This was inconvenient and disappointing, as we wanted to enjoy the meal as a whole. I wish they would change this policy and allow mixed seating for large groups. Other than that, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Gujarati and Punjabi cuisine, but be prepared to split up if you are a large group. I give it 4...
