The place is good but the taste can be improved. Went on a regular day at around 9 PM but the place was crowded. There are a lot of areas to click some good pictures there if you are waiting!!
We got a round table for 8 people . The table was in corner and there were mosquitoes and big flies flying around my table.
We ordered the starters and main course altogether . We found a lot of problem with their paneer. First of all in Paneer chilly it was soft but sour and that too in Lasooni Paneer Tikka and the subji that we ordered had rock hard paneer.
Coming to the food we had, Paneer Chilly. As I mentioned above the paneer was a bit problematic. When it came we thought that there was imbalance of sauces . We asked the person who took our order who gently took a piece of it to get it tasted by the chef. He told that the sauces were imbalanced and he brought us another paneer chilly but it felt same. We found that the paneer was only like that and told him to replace it with manchurian.
Manchurian. It tasted great. It had everything that a good Chinese dish needs to have. From a great punch of garlic to properly balanced sauces and great taste. Also quantity was good.
Lasooni Paneer Tikka. As we order everything at once it also had the same paneer and it too tasted sour. The taste of lasoon(garlic) was mild. It had 8 pieces.
Paneer Flamingo. It was a good subji. It also had the paneer problem but this time paneer was not sour but was hard. We told him that it was quite a lot hard and he replaced it too with paneer being cooked instead of raw in the new dish. It tasted great. It was topped with Pieces of onions and green bell peppers and cheese. Quantity was also good.
We had butter rotis and naan and they were perfectly cooked and none of it came burnt or hard which was great.
Burnt Garlic Rice. It was awesome. It had tonnes of vegetables and great punch of garlic to justify its name.
Egg Curry. It was made with 4 eggs(boiled) that were added in the gravy. It tasted nice. The gravy was thick and spicy which made it taste a lot better. Also quantity was good.
A good place to try for vegetarians too as they serve some good vegetarian though people mostly visit to have non vegetarian food there. I had a lot of problem with their paneer. But their service was quick and they were serving with...
Read moreSingh Saaab Di Rasoi, the new entrant in the restaurants, the location a little awkward but awesome food, ambiance and service.
Starting with the ambiance it was good but little congested. I found that the waiters themselves were having problems while serving the dishes. Being a new diner, the cutlery were up to the mark and well settled.
Hats off to the service. The waiters were will dressed, friendly and had the knowledge of the items on the menu; were attentive and quick on the suggestion if asked for. If you have a kid along they will lend you a hand if required so that you can have you lunch/dinner properly.
Now it's the turn for the food, which was really really good. We ordered Lahsuni Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Chap, Subz Makhanwala, Paneer Butter Masala, Tandoori Roti and Tandoori Naan. The lahsuni paneer tikka was awesome, the tandoori chap was not at all as I had it at the Highway Hits, I am not at all a mix vegetable person but the Subz Makhanwala made me a fan of it, paneer butter masala was very good and now the breads it way better than what is served in most of the restaurants here in Surat.
The surprising part was the menu which was 2 page in brief, with not many options to select from, it was easy to make the choices.
The restaurant seems a little heavy to the pockets but seeing the quantity I'd say it otherwise.
My take, obviously a go, a must try restaurant. I am going to visit there...
