I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to dine at Restaurant Swad, and I must say that it was a highly disappointing experience. From the taste of the food to the attitude of the staff, everything seemed to be a letdown. Let's start with the taste of the food. To put it bluntly, it was the worst I have ever encountered. The flavors were bland, and the dishes lacked any depth or creativity. It felt as though the chefs had no passion or skill in the culinary arts. It's disheartening when you visit a restaurant with high hopes, only to be served subpar and unappetizing meals. Adding to the disappointment was the rude staff. Their behavior was nothing short of appalling. The waiters were dismissive and inattentive, paying little to no attention to the customers. It seemed as though they were doing us a favor by serving us, rather than treating us as paying guests. The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was deeply disappointing and created a negative atmosphere throughout the entire meal. Furthermore, the service was unacceptably slow. We waited an unreasonable amount of time for our orders to arrive. It appeared as if the kitchen staff was completely disorganized, leading to unnecessary delays in getting the food to the tables. This delay not only tested our patience but also added to the already unfavorable experience. Based on my visit, I strongly advise against visiting Restaurant Swad. The combination of tasteless food, rude staff, and late service makes it an establishment to be avoided. With so many other wonderful dining options available, it would be a waste of time, money, and taste buds to visit this restaurant. I sincerely hope that Restaurant Swad takes customer feedback seriously and makes significant improvements to rectify the numerous issues plaguing their establishment. Overall, my experience at Restaurant Swad was nothing short of regrettable. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an enjoyable...
Read moreSwad restaurant food was good. As we are maharashtrians, we ordered unlimited Gujarati thali. Thali contains 2 dry veggies, 2 gravy veggies, 3 types of chatani with dhokala and methi pakoda, dahi chat, kadhi, daal, salad, hot fulakas (small rotis) with ghee, rice / khichdi and buttermilk. It was too heavy for lunch. As it was unlimited, waiters were asking you as soon as you were about to finish anything from thali. But we couldn't finish the whole thali. If you can eat whole thali then only go for this option. It's just in front of Saputara lake so you can have your...
Read moreSwad Restaurant truly lives up to its name when it comes to food quality. Every dish we ordered was flavorful, well-prepared, and felt authentic. However, the service was noticeably slow. We had to wait quite a while for our food to arrive, and even getting the staff's attention took some effort at times.
That said, the amazing taste of the food made up for the delay to some extent. If they work on improving their service speed, this place has the potential to become a top favorite.
Would definitely return for the food — just hope the experience is...
