The House of Makeba - Rooftop Restaurant in IIM Road — Restaurant in Gujarat

So one lazy Saturday I decided to explore a café nearby and I landed up at Makeba the lounge café. So it was in the afternoon that me and my friend visited there. The Café is difficult to locate though but as soon as you step inside the cool colors and wide room and amazing ambiance just gives you a warm and relaxing feeling. The servers were polite & welcoming we were escorted to a Sofa setup which is one of my favorite. I was still absorbing in the amazing ambiance and the calmness. The food menu was quite interesting when they handed out a clipboard divide into the sections Drinks & Food. So we mostly browsed and ultimately settled in for some Appetizers all Non-Veg. We went in for the BBQ Chicken Wings & Chicken Skewers followed up with Green Apple & Cucumber Mojito. So I would love to say that they really ensure that the food reaches you table nice and hot. The Skewers were juicy succulent and moist as well as beautifully contrasting with the bed of lettuce and peppers. The mojito's quite refreshing and really beautifully done, one can feel the kick of cucumber & green apple in it. Next came in our Wings of Fire aka BBQ Chicken wings. My gosh the soft tender chicken you could tell by biting into the wings that it was freshly prepared and not like kept in deep fridges and then taken out and prepared. Again a sip of the cool refreshing beverages was just a soothing experience. The r restaurant also had a very soft music being played and not blaring which again gave all their customers a relaxing feel, I could as well tell that the patrons were all enjoying their time. I would really thank the managers there for ensuring the customers are cared for. My ratings would be Ambiance-4/5 Food-5/5 Staff Demeanor-4/5 Value...

First restaurant in my life where I was waiting for the bill for more than 15min. Seriously guys what are you upto 😂. "What is your motive/passion? You guys are not good at food not good at service,not good at collecting money, not good at treating customers,not good at cleanliness".

Too much hype about this place. The place is horrible. At this price rate the service should be the top most priority for the management. But its totally opposite by them.There was a bald guy who was wearing white shirt seems to me like manager was acting like he is serving free food to poor hungry people.(Attitude જોયો હોય તો મેં પાણી અને મેનૂ માટે પૂછ્યું, તો ખાલી ભાઈ એ માથું હલાવ્યું I thought that was a sign of conformation but I was wrong water arrived after more than 10min 😄) full cartoon loko che staff maa.

Awful Service from start to finish,No manners to treat customers by staff, had to ask for water multiple times when we got to the table. Table was dusty and glass with a watermarks and dust on top of it. Ordered a munchow soup which was suppose to be hot 🔥 but it was cold must have been given leftovers.( Just took a sip and sended back) Waiter dropping food on table and running here and there not a courtesy to serve the food as we were having our another dishes.(our hands were occupied) Waiting for bread in main course while the sabzi was getting cold.( રાહ જોવી હોય દરેક વસ્તુમાં ધીરજ હોય ​​તમારા મા તોહ જ જાવુ) I am giving the place a 1 star because I couldn’t give it a 0 (zero) star. Don’t spend your money there.

Everyone who works there acts like they would rather be somewhere else instead. It shows in both the service and the food. You will never see me eat here again.

We went there after booking on eazydinner , we saw our booking is confirmed but still when we arrived there, the manager said , we have not received your booking neither we confirm and after few minutes of questioning him , he said k we have booking in your name. After getting table we ordered two three dishes which was one of mocktail, French fries , soup and pasta. The service and was the worst part of this restaurant. After 30 mins we got our first dish whocb was soup (Manchow soup) , which was full of boiled vegetables and water with no taste, then again after 15 - 20 minutes we got our French fries which was very delicious , but again we received our third item which was pesto pasta , which was cold and again of no taste and no exotic vegetables for which we have already told ( exotic vegetables) . We sent pasta back and told him to serve again , the fantastic part is here, he served us the same pasta which he served us before and there was no ravioli in it as he served us before two piece of raviololi ( which sent back to the kitchen ) . And again the bread witblh pasta was also not cooked , when we asked him why ? He replied the kitchen is running very busy and you were in hurry..... waaah what a reply man.The mocktail when we ordered , we told him to bring with fries which was yet served. There was plastic particles in pasta , and when we complained about the same again the answer was sir we are is today as it's Saturday. The service was very poor again the was...
