Vatika Inn Multi Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Gujarat

I had heard a lot about this place from my friends and family members. Most of them being quite positive about the food being provided. So, I decided to visit this place to get a first hand experience.

The ambience of this place is quite good, the seats are pretty nice and comfortable. None of the tables seemed to be cluttered into a small space just to accommodate more customers.

That being said, the service provided by the staff is pretty slow and erroneous. For instance, we'd ordered for 4 full soups divided into halves, making it 8 soups in all. However, when it came to serving, they provided us with 4 soups only.

They also messed up with the subzi's. We'd specifically asked the person jotting down the order on the no of plates/subzi needed for 10 people, to which he replied that 1 plate per subzi would be enough. However, to our disappointment, when the subzi was served, we came to know that 2 people hadn't even been served the subzi.

These are just two of the few more incidents which tarnished their reputation in my eyes, at least.

The saving grace for them, though were the starters, which were lip smackingly yummy and were probably the only thing delivered on time.

This is a newly opened restaurant in this area. It's difficult to notice from a moving vehicle. Located on 1st floor, this restaurant serves Punjabi , Chinese and Kathiyawadi dishes. If you take stairs you can first see the kitchen and then comes the restaurant entrance. Inside ambience is very pleasant. One can choose to sit on the side facing the road or otherwise. They have seating arrangement for small group as well as large group of around 14. Menu is quiet expensive. Quality and quantity wise they are good. Veg bawarchi had a really different taste. But chapati they served is very pathetic. It's was like papad. Even after replacing with different one they were the same. Suggest not to order chapati here. Clean hand wash area and washroom. Nice ambiance but food was pathetic. Not recommend this restaurant. We have ordered Chinese sizzler but they forget to add Manchurian, they added french fries which is absolutely wrong. The dish was absolutely taste less. Later on they give us extra Manchurian but that was also taste less we didn't like it. We also ordered tomato soup but that also pathetic, we didn't feel original tomato it was like artificial colored and artificial fragrance of tomato soup and very sweet.
