The last time we hyped up a vegetarian place so much was White Sage in Jaipur. We found an equivalent to it in Gurgaon, and it got us excited. And it takes a lot for a vegetarian restaurant to excite us.
Aesthetically done and spacious interiors, with ample amount of natural light, we think it’s the perfect place to bring your family for a nice, wholesome brunch on a weekend.
We had the mugalpodi mini idlis that were soft and bite-sized, made with in-house podi masala. That ghee tadka on top was a hit.
We quickly moved on to the palak patta chaat that had a little twist of safed matar in it. It truly elevated the whole dish. What a brilliant combo.
We then had the sundried tomato and ricotta cigar rolls that were crispy, cheesy, flavourful with a tang of tomato.
What we really liked about the tomato burrata flatbread was the crusty base made of back wheat. Very unusual and yet so tasty, we couldn’t get enough of it.
Both the cucumber and cream cheese avocado sushi and teriyaki veggie kappamaki were freshly prepared and quite delicious.
All the three baos - crispy tofu teriyaki, kung pao cottage cheese and keema basil bao were fun and colourful. The baos were soft and each of them offered a whole different taste.
The mushroom pepper fry had that coastal touch and when paired with our favourite Malabar parrotta, it tasted fab. The fried onions on top of the mushroom elevated the whole dish.
The fig and goat cheese toast with caramelised onions is a must must order when you visit the restaurant. What a combination!
Our mocktails hibiscus sour, Shandar imli, arth ka gola and spiced jamun were made on point. The brief was - keep it spicy or chatpata, and they delivered just that. Kudos to the guy at the bar - Rahul.
And finally the piping hot chocolate roll in crispy layers of puff pastry along with the coconut creme brûlée that is every coconut-loving person’s dream come true. We can’t deny that we ended our meal on a high and how.
The staff is extremely attentive and made sure we had a comfortable dining experience. The manager - Prabha is chatty and warm, and took good care of us. They have a vast menu to choose from - Indian to Italian, to salad and whatnot, you can eat as per your mood or whatever you like. Go there is you’re a vegetarian struggling to find good quality food that also...

Ambience (3.5/5) Visited on Valentine’s Day, the restaurant was decorated with heart-shaped balloons and hangings, setting a festive mood. However, the live music performance was underwhelming, and we were fortunate to have better background music from a nearby restaurant due to our outdoor seating. Cleanliness was satisfactory.
Service (3/5)
Despite having a pre-booked table, no one approached us upon arrival. We were eventually addressed—possibly by the owner—and offered our choice of outdoor seating, which was a bit cold. A tower heater would have been a thoughtful addition. With the restaurant at 70-80% occupancy, there were delays in receiving the menu and placing orders. The staff was polite but required multiple reminders for small things like lighting the table candle, which lasted barely 10 minutes.
Food Quality (3/5)
We ordered: • Spring Rolls – Average taste, portion size could be better. • Dal Makhani with Smoked White Butter (served with crispy parathas) – Presentation was appealing, but the flavor didn’t stand out. • Pav Bhaji Pull-Apart Cheese Bread – The bhaji left an unpleasant aftertaste. • Strawberry Frappe & Ginger Julip – Refreshing but nothing extraordinary.
Overall, the presentation was good, but flavors lacked a memorable punch—a letdown for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day.
Value for Money (4/5)
Given its Golf Course Road location, the pricing felt reasonable.
Overall Experience (3/5)
While the ambience and pricing were fair, service delays and average food quality made the experience less special than expected, especially on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant has potential but needs improvements in both service efficiency and food flavors to truly live up to its name—“Food for Your Soul.”
Would you visit again? Perhaps—but only if they enhance the taste and...
