A Disappointing and Disrespectful Experience – Avoid This Place!

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this shop was so frustrating and disheartening that I feel compelled to warn others. I went in with excitement, purchasing a big birthday balloon for ₹35. But when I got back to my room, I discovered that the packet, which was supposed to contain two balloons as mentioned on the label, had only one.

Hoping for a simple resolution, I returned to the shop. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or even listening to my concern with basic courtesy, the lady at the counter immediately became defensive. She raised her voice, insisted all packets were the same, and blamed me for not checking before buying. Her words were harsh: "First listen to me!"—not as a request, but as an order, dripping with rudeness.

She outright refused to return the balloon, even though it was still packed and unused. After repeatedly requesting, I was finally allowed to exchange it for chocolate. But the whole experience left a bad taste—why should a customer have to beg for fair treatment?

Respect and honesty are the foundation of any good business. If a simple purchase leads to this much trouble, imagine what else they could be careless about. I strongly recommend exploring other shops where customers are valued and treated with the dignity they deserve. Save yourself the frustration—spend your money where...

We had an amazing experience with Bakelicious when we ordered a custom cake for our friend’s birthday. We’ve been regular customers for almost four years now and always prefer ordering from them because of their strong focus on customer satisfaction.

The owner is very polite and always does her best to turn Pinterest cake inspirations into reality — which is not as easy as it looks! She always discusses what can and can’t be done, as well as what might not look or taste good. Everything is discussed in advance to set the right expectations.
