I had a very disappointing experience with Bakingo. I ordered a Peppa Pig cake and Dairy Milk chocolates on 15th July through Bakingo website for the delivery location Pune, but the order was not delivered. I was later informed that the delivery could not be completed because the recipient was "not in town".
When I contacted customer service, the representative "Anshu" was extremely rude and unhelpful. She kept repeating, “Ma’am, we cannot deliver,” with zero willingness to offer an alternative or solution. I even suggested leaving the order at the doorstep, a practice that many other platforms follow, but that was outright refused.
What made things worse was the refund process. Only 30% of the amount (₹241) out of Rs 804 was refunded, and that too into the Bakingo app wallet, not to my original payment method. This feels like a trap to make customers reorder just to use the wallet balance. On top of that, your website doesn’t even allow using the full wallet amount in one order, which makes it even more frustrating.
This is a very bad service. I feel scammed and helpless. I paid ₹600 for absolutely nothing, and now I’m being forced to go through your platform again just to use the partial refund. This is an unethical business practice.
Today (17th July), after yet another call with your customer representative, After I mentioned clearly that I want my refund in my original payment method, I was suddenly told that the money will now be refunded to the original payment method. Why wasn’t this done on the 15th itself? Her tone was once again dismissive and arrogant.
Bakingo, this is shameful. Your service, refund policy, and customer care have been deeply disappointing. I will not be using your platform again and would caution others to think twice before...

I had placed an order for a customized cake on 28th July 2025, clearly specifying the delivery slot between 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on 31st July date. Unfortunately, the cake was not delivered until 9:00 PM, which was well after the event had already ended.
Additionally, the cake that was finally delivered was missing the customized message "Happy 2nd Innings"—a key and meaningful part of the celebration. It’s shocking that such a basic instruction was ignored, something even a small local bakery would not overlook. Due to delayed delivery it was received in melting condition.
What made it worse was that I had to call the owner and support team multiple times just to get updates. When I finally spoke with the owner, I was told that they had “just received the order,” which is completely unacceptable given the order was placed 3 days in advance.
Despite repeatedly asking, the owner was unable to provide the contact details of the delivery person, which showcases a high level of disorganization and unprofessional behavior from both the owner and the Bakingo support team.
This negligence and mismanagement completely ruined a special occasion, and caused both emotional stress and embarrassment.
Given the delayed delivery and incomplete customization, I am requesting partial refund as the service failed on all the parameters it promised.

Read moreYesterday I ordered a cake from bakingo for my mother on the occasion of mother's day .It was written that it will be delivered on 12th may 9am-9pm.So , today morning at 8am I received message your order is on the way ,till 12 it was not delivered .I called customer care,they said it's out for delivery soon will be delivered no time gurantee and we mentioned in site that slot is till 9pm.At 4pm again I called then they said your order will be soon out for delivery.So in short they are just giving excuses.At 9 pm I called they said it is on the way .they gave me rider no.i called rider he said mam I don't have any order for your location. and after some time I see they change my order status to completed.But my order was not delivered.i called and again they are making new story it will be delivered n bla bla then y d hell you made my status completed . And upon that they are saying your cake will be delivered tomorrow. mother's day is today and they will deliver tomorrow. Pathetic experience .after a long argument they cancelled my order.they spoiled my whole day.Now at 10pm from where I will get.
