Disappointing Experience at The Big Chill – Overpriced and Underwhelming!
I recently dined at The Big Chill (Mall of India, Noida) and was thoroughly disappointed with the food. Given the high prices, I expected much better quality, but unfortunately, it did not meet expectations.
Garlic Bread (₹245): Stale, lacked proper seasoning, and barely had any garlic flavor. The portion size was also underwhelming for the price.
Ravioli Genovese Veg (₹630): The ravioli was overcooked and mushy, with a bland filling. The sauce lacked depth and tasted more like a generic spinach butter puree rather than a proper Genovese-style sauce.
Penne Con Pollo (₹690): This was a major letdown. The pasta was under-seasoned, the chicken was dry, and the sauce tasted artificial. Definitely not worth the price.
Fusilli Con Verdura Mista (₹610): this was the only edible dish and when I was visited had a decent portion size, wine flame included.
Irish Cream Coffee (₹260): The coffee was average at best, with no real Irish cream richness. It felt more like an overpriced regular coffee with a hint of flavoring.
Service Charge (10% Extra!): Adding a mandatory 10% service charge, despite the lackluster service, felt like a rip-off. The staff seemed uninterested, and the food took forever to arrive.
Overall, this was a waste of money. The quality does not justify the exorbitant prices. If you’re looking for good Italian food in Noida, there are far better options available. Definitely not recommended!
for ambience it's got a vintage vibe, definitely good for gram, however the staff doesn't cater to your needs, makes u wait even if u see tables empty on a weekday, what's the point of having tablets and self service if staff is there? Let's be honest we cannot replicate a mini Italy in Noida. So if you charge service make sure from door entry right from exit the food is at point
I had to go to Kylin to fill my stomach as the portion size was so tiny, I've been a customer for a solid 10 years, was my go place in College Years, I've been brutal in the review as I've worked in Hospitality and Retail.
Hope the owners and the management can compensate for the food, stating this after the competition in the...
Read moreBig Chill has been a go-to for years, and it still delivers that same comforting nostalgic experience today. Tucked into the vibrant buzz of CyberHub, this old-school favourite has managed to hold on its own in a sea of ever-changing food trends — and for good reason.
The menu is a well-curated blend of European classics — grilled chicken, pastas, steaks, and desserts — all done with a consistency that’s hard to find these days. The Chicken in Red wine sauce pasta is a standout: rich, creamy. Their fish and chips also deserve a mention — crisp on the outside, tender inside, and paired with a tangy tartar sauce that hits the right notes. The Burger patties are perfectly cook and the portion size of burger is difficult for 1 person to finish up if you are a small eater.
Drinks here are equally satisfying. The cocktails are classic rather than flashy, but well-made — the Sangria is a great companion for long conversations.
The ambience strikes that perfect balance between casual and polished — dim lighting, leather seat booths, and soft retro music give it that unmistakable old-world charm.
Their desserts have been my absolute favourite growning up and never disappointed on the quantity served.
In a city that’s constantly chasing the “new,” Big Chill is a reminder of how good the familiar can be.
Nostalgic, consistent, and comforting — a must-visit for anyone craving a true Continental classic...
Read moreOne of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving good comfort food. The vibe here is warm and nostalgic, with those classic movie posters and cozy booths that make you want to settle in and stay for hours. Big chill and Mushroom lasagna is their yummiest combination.
The pasta is always a hit I tried the Penne Vodka and it was creamy, rich, and perfectly cooked. Their grilled chicken in mushroom sauce is another favorite, and the portion sizes are generous. But honestly, the desserts steal the show. The Banoffee Pie and the Mississippi Mud Pie are just next-level sweet, dense, and so satisfying.
Service is smooth, and even when it’s busy, the staff handles everything well. The Gurugram outlet feels slightly calmer than the Delhi ones, which is a nice bonus.
Perfect for a casual lunch, a catch-up with friends, or even a solo treat-yourself day. Definitely a place you’ll keep...
