Drunken Botanist, an Innovative Botanical Garden Bar has been buzzing neighborhood from Quite some time now. I have been keen in visiting this beautiful luscious garden where the Botanists and Mixologist have been curating and creating Magic with the spells of Elixirs and Ambrosia that says to leaves you enchanted and bestowed.
This place looks like a Paradise, A Secret Tropical garden that gives you a Groovy Walk into the wilderness. You will find many Beautiful corners all around that are scenic to a Garden with Trees and Plants look-alike props on the walls and ceilings. It seems a place of good times where you stimulate your taste buds with their popular Japanese street food and enjoy the playfulness that illuminates this place over Botanical Drinks.
Botanical Date Julep
Described as the brainchild of the Botanist himself this drink is finest in the league. Made from a selected Jameson Irish Whiskey, Date pure, sage, mint leaves, this is served in Copper Mug saying Headed High
Botanist Martini
A classic pick that had Gin, Elderflower cordial, red wine vinegar, bubblegum air with a balsamic cherry. Neat and smooth this one created some tinkles for sure.
Old School Bloody Mary
This drink is something I love the most and wanted to try the Botanist touch to it and it was the best one till date I had.
I love to Eat Oriental Japanese Street food, but somehow my taste buds couldn't relish them till date, but under the magic spell of this botanical garden, I happened to taste and relish best of Sushis and Dumplings I ever tasted. Not only they were done right, but they were done beautifully. I loved their Hot Sushi Maki Roll and California Roll on bed of delicious dollops of sauce and beetroot flowers on top.
We also tried Vietnamese Roll, which was a delightful roll Stuffed with pickled veggies, and topped with sweet chilli mango sauce. Not to forget their Exotic Vegetable Curry Dumplings, which were thin covering outside and a creamy filling inside. They were served along with a curry that is poured live on your table. One of the most delicious and Exotic dumplings I have tasted in Vegetarian section.
To begin with we tried Cantonese Mushroom. Those were Crunchy mushrooms tossed with chilli, basil and spices. Mushrooms are my favorite in vegetarian food and these were lip smacking.
A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED dish that one must try out here is Edible Charcoal Dahi Kebab. These are Dahi ke Kebab with coated edible charcoal served with sweet chilli sauce. I have never tasted such an alluring robust, yet mouth melt-in dish that burst with flavours.
Another beautiful dish here was Lotus Root Our Way. Lotus Root crisp fried tossed in plum sauce, black pepper crumble, and served with truffle cream. An exotic and delightful dish that was never before served and tasted like this one. A Must Try dish.
Coming to the desert, we tried their Red Velvet Affair, which is A Valentine's month special and we Loved it to the heart. A Heart shaped Slice of Red Velvet with dollop splash of raspberry coulis topped and filled up with cream cheese frosting. It vanished in minutes.
The most talked about and Instagrammable Dessert is their Tres Leches that is served in an Exotic Dome Serveware that looks Blissful and taste Sinful. A Softened sponge soaked in Vanilla milk and topped with Strawberry cream that just melts in mouth and it's after taste will make you crave for more.
This place LITS throughout the day and is mostly packed, even on weekdays, so it's better to Reserve your tables ahead. Although they are dedicated to make your Dining sky High, but they ensure that only Adults handle those Highs. So don't feel low if they don't serve Liquor below the age of 25 years. We went in the group of 4, and our experience have been Overwhelmingly Magical. Be it the Drinks, Food or Ambience, this place is a A Forest that is lit and drunk and under a spell where you sit down and Unravel High Zones with Quirky Drinks and...

The guys at Drunken Botanist have absolutely nailed the decor, and with many beautiful artefacts in place the restaurant offers an unmatched ambience. Everything you notice here even before you enter, gives the whole rustic-laboratory vibe to the restaurant.
The food here, with the exceptional presentation and delicious taste, is a steal at its price. We tried :
🥗 Vietnamese Summer Roll - This is a complete explosion of flavours in your mouth. That moment one takes a bite, one can sense the complexity of flavours and texture at offer. The crunchiness of pickled veggies with mint’s freshness and gelatinous sheets, well you get the idea. This is where I was impressed by the time that was put into designing the menu.
🍙 Spicy Tuna Sushi, Aglio-e-Olio pasta, Alfredo pasta, Shiitake Dumplings - The standard dishes nothing extra-ordinary here. They tasted great and each were presented beautifully.
🍖 Laboratory Lamb Chops - For these lamb chops, the chef 👨🏻🍳 comes to the table and plates the whole dish from scratch. The white plate symbolises the blank canvas with the chef being the artist here. He explained each of the different ingredients and its significance while plating. Apart from all the presentation, the lamb was very tender and succulent. And the BBQ sugarcane 😍🤩
🍕 Japanese Cold Pizza - Most beautiful looking pizza ever 😍 (with edible flowers). The fresh salmon with the pizza’s crispy crust gives it a very unique texture. It also has salmon roe which raised quite a few eyebrows of our vegetarian friends :P
🍡 Lychee Lollipop - The presentation was all good but this was the one where the quantity felt less. These were 4 small sized lychees with a filling and an external spicy coating.
🍲 Chutney Sampler - This is just some flavoured naan served with 4 different chutneys. Nothing bad but nothing spectacular except for the mango chutney.
🍱 Botanist Mess Board - The kataifi in this dish provided a unique crispness. The kebabs with the dish were delicious. However, the dish as a whole couldn’t impress a lot.
A special mention goes to our server 🤵🏻, Sarvesh. He ensured that everything was on time and managed all our issues well. Kudos to the restaurant for such courteous staff.
This is a sister restaurant to Molecule, Sec.29 and I believe after the brewery starts on 20th May 2018, it may give a solid competition to other restaurants at Cyberhub. With craft beer and a budget modern cuisine at hand, it might be a bit difficult to take this one down.

Nestled in the bustling heart of DLF Cyberhub, The Drunken Botanist is more than just a cocktail bar—it’s a whimsical portal to a world where elixirs and morsels come together in perfect harmony. Having heard about their accolade as the Best Cocktail Bar at the Times Food and Nightlife Awards 2023, I couldn’t resist the lure of discovering the much-talked-about #HappyHigh.
Walking through its doors, I was instantly transported to a dreamy sanctuary with lush greenery, eclectic décor, and an ambiance that buzzed with life. This wasn’t just a bar; it was a celebration of sensory delights.
A Culinary Adventure Like No Other
Our culinary journey began with a LIVE treat—the Mexican Chip & Dip, prepared right at our table. Watching the ingredients come alive before us was an experience in itself, but the crunch of the chips paired with the creamy, tangy dip elevated it to a whole new level.
Next up was the Pickled Beetroot Rice Sushi—a vibrant twist on the classic sushi roll. The earthy flavors of beetroot combined with the delicate texture of rice created a bite that was both unique and satisfying.
From the dim sum menu, the Poached Chicken Dumpling was a standout. Each bite of the soft, flavorful dumpling wrapped in perfectly steamed skin melted in my mouth, leaving me craving more.
No meal is complete without dessert, and The Drunken Botanist delivered with their Apple Crumble. Warm, spiced apples topped with a crunchy crumble and served with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream—pure perfection.
Raise Your Glass to the Best
The highlight of the evening, however, was the drinks. The Mulled Wine was a warm hug in a glass—perfectly spiced and just sweet enough to warm the soul. With every sip, I understood why this place was crowned the best cocktail bar.
