I had an unfortunate experience at Fat Lulu’s Worldmark this evening (December 27, 2024) that left me deeply disappointed. I visited the restaurant around 5:30 PM with my mother and my 9-year-old son, eager to try the pizza’s. However, what should have been an enjoyable outing turned sour due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff, particularly the manager on duty. Toward the end of our meal, I inquired about payment options and was explicitly informed that digital payments via a specific app were accepted. However, when it came time to settle the bill, the staff rudely contradicted their earlier statement. The situation escalated unnecessarily as seven staff members, including the manager and another service staff, surrounded our table, refusing to listen to me and continuously arguing. What was especially shocking was their intimidating behavior, given that we were two women accompanied by a young child. The team’s unfriendly demeanor and the argumentative, non-cooperative attitude of the staff member dealing with us were appalling. To make matters worse, the server displayed an unapologetic tone and a lack of accountability. Shockingly, the staff made inappropriate remarks directed at me, which were noticed and overheard by my 9-year-old son. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the misinformation and their behavior, they rudely suggested that I “read the fine print next time” instead of offering a constructive resolution or an apology. This encounter tarnished what could have been a memorable evening with my family. It was not just the misinformation but the dismissive and intimidating behavior of the staff that made the experience unpleasant. A little courtesy, professionalism, and clear communication would have gone a long way in resolving the situation amicably. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to ensure no other patron faces such a...
Read moreFat Lulu’s isn’t what it used to be to be. A decade ago they were the go to place for quality ingredients and authentic taste
Today it’s just another Instagram restaurant serving food that look good, taste average
Went to their Worldmark branch/franchise yesterday, zero customers beside me, had to request repeated to get rid of the house flies, which they did and the staff is new and clueless on the menu
Asked why did they not serve their signature calzone at this outlet, they didn’t even know what calzone is
Tried the Louisiana Chicken - the serving is not even enough for a 6 year old and the chicken was super dry, bland and lacked any flavour or fresh ness
Their mutton burger - Lamby, the quality is 4/10, it use to be 10/10
Their signature pizza Che Che - was just about alright, I mean Paul’s pizza or Pizza Express will take them head on anyday
The owner - Monika Batra did a brilliant job when they opened up the first outlet in 2014 at Cross Point Mall, the quality there is still good, but here is just bad
Avoid Fat LuLu’s at Worldmark Sector 65
BTW - the kitchen door is broken and to see how these people inside take the food out of the deep fridge and cook, will make you loose your appetite
Also the hygiene is a concern, bad floor condition, gravy on the menu, sticky tables, no wonder the houseflies
A good brand, I use to be loyal to is off...
Read moreI visited here and order for wine, pasta and pizza.
Pizza - it was excellent! Worth eating. Pasta - it was pathetic. Aglio Olio pasta is spaghetti in garlic sauce with a pinch of red chilli flakes. There was hardly any garlic and spicy as hell. Icing on the cake: I ordered red wine, the person brought me a white wine. It could have been a genuine mistake. I told him that I ordered for red wine of the same brand and he began search for red wine in the fridge. I told him twice that red wine is stored and served at room temperature but my words fell on deaf ears. After he completed his fridge search, he found the wine outside the fridge. Until now everything is fine. He took the white wine which he incorrectly gave to me and started pouring it bank into the bottle standing right next to me. A person came running from behind and asked him what he was doing. He explained and that person took the wine and the bottle. I thought here we have a sensible man. He went behind, to a place where I could see him slightly, and poured the wine back into the bottle. Remember if you go here, the wine they serve you might have travelled a lot...
