I recently ordered pizzas from Pizza Hut through Zomato, opting for their Buy One Get One Free offer. I ordered both a veg and a non-veg pizza, expecting to enjoy the deal as advertised. However, the experience turned out to be quite disappointing.
When the order arrived, I was surprised to find only one pizza instead of two. Upon complaining, I was informed that the issue was due to me applying a coupon during checkout, which, according to them, made me ineligible for the offer. The frustrating part is that there was no clear communication or warning on the app that applying a coupon would forfeit the Buy One Get One deal. As a customer, I felt misled and let down by this lack of transparency.
To add to the confusion, I received seasonings and ketchup meant for two pizzas, which only made the situation more contradictory and frustrating. It gave the impression that they were prepared to send two pizzas but somehow did not fulfill the order.
The pizza itself was good in terms of taste, as always, but the overall experience left me feeling disappointed and cheated. I’d strongly advise anyone ordering from Pizza Hut on Zomato to double-check the terms and conditions of offers and ensure you’re not unknowingly invalidating deals. Transparency and better communication could have prevented this negative experience.
