More Than Paranthas — Restaurant in Haryana

Today I visited "More than Paranthas," Sector 81, Faridabad with my family, and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences ever.

Worse thing happened here. one of the missi roti served had a big thread baked inside it. If my child had eaten that, it could have caused a serious health issue. This is a complete violation of basic hygiene and food safety standards.

We ordered Paneer Tikka Garlic Bread as a starter. Instead of serving that, the waiter tried to force us to take Paneer Tikka saying “sir please take this we get ready panner tikka by mistakly.” I had to refuse multiple times before finally getting what I actually ordered.

At the time of ordering dinner, we specifically asked what comes with parathas, and they said butter, pickle, and onion salad. However, when our food was served, none of these items were provided. End of the dinner he served pickles.

When I complained, instead of sincerely addressing the issue, the waiter casually said, “I will change this thread roti,” and then tried to cover up the matter by offering me a free dessert. This felt like a cheap attempt to bribe us rather than taking responsibility. There was absolutely no accountability, no manager to listen, and no respect for customer concerns. The service was pathetic, careless, and unsafe.

I tried this out tonight. Let’s talk ambience first, it is good place for supper or dinner. Customer service was good but ill informed as the waiters didn’t know what they were serving. As them if you serve regular water and gave the mineral water bottle after the food was served already. Mineral water was also not alkaline yet way too expensive for it poor quality. I ordered some food from the menu and later told they didn’t have it. We tried their Jodhpuri Paratha, mushroom, creamy soup, virgin mojito, watermelon, Dahi ke Sholay. In all this menu, the only thing I could vouch for, was their Virgin mojito which is already a premix drink. The soup was too salty and Dahi ke Sholay were too oily. They literally served Parathas without anything nor they informed that I have to order something with it. When it comes to price of our order, which was average, but not really justified to the food quality. It was not really worth...

What a horrible experience we had first the manager ignored our call for order, and after waiting for a long time he finally came.

Ordered Paneer Makhmali, Jodhpuri Hari Mirch Parantha, and Pudina Parantha

Paneer Makhmali was Paneer pieces dipped into the butter chicken gravy, paneer was not even warm so a roadside dhaba makes a better version of it

Jodhpuri Hari Mirch Parantha was the saving grace as it was at its best and tasted good

Pudina Parantha was again unpalatable with no flavors to it

The waiting staff need serious training as it happened at a time when only one table was occupied apart from us. The way he dropped plates on our table was horrible, even dhabas do it in a very respectful manner.
