Moti Mahal — Restaurant in Haryana

We came here for a function in the afternoon and were disgusted by the state of the toilets, floors, and general decor. Frankly speaking, the toilets were not suitable for women to use at all - we even had to place serving napkins in the toilets so that the female guests could wipe down the toilet seats before sitting down.

When we complained to the manager, he just said that it looked clean enough to him and that there was no toilet paper available and that none of the nearby shops sold them.

He then brought the venue owner up to speak with us, and he was extremely rude. Instead of being apologetic, he sulked about us apparently not being nice to him and claimed that he was a poor person and that we should’ve booked a different venue if we wanted such (apparent) niceties such as clean toilets and floors. I can’t even imagine what the conditions were like in the kitchen.

At the end of the festivities, instead of making an announcement on the PA system, the staff members started turning off lights and moving tables from the back room and yelled at us to pack up and leave because another function was starting in two hours.

The dance floor was also a major healthy & safety hazard because it was both undersized and raised above the ground by 4-5 inches with no railing to stop people from falling off or tripping on its edges. In fact, one of the event’s hosts tripped on the edge of the dance floor after it had been moved to the eating area where we were gathered after the music stopped.

The same worker who rudely ejected us from the main hall even had the audacity to blame the person for tripping over the dance floor instead of the fact that it was stored dangerously and the majority of the lights were turned off.

Please, please, please don’t book your functions here. Not only will you feel bad for your guests due to the venue’s atrocious sanitary conditions, you’ll also have to be conscious of overzealous staff forcing people out by turning off the lights...

1 Star Rating * (Post Covid in 2022) Had a worst experience today. Visited for lunch with family. Kids called it ‘Makkhi Mahal’ as flies were around each table and were spooling the food. The food was cold esp Noodles. It was overall not a pleasant lunch experience today.

A pure vegetarian family restaurant to enjoy tasty Indian dishes. Authentic taste with fresh ingredients. Nominal rates. The restaurant shares the floor with Moti Mahal sweets, a varieties of mouth watering sweets etc. outside of it, the chaat counter also attracts visitors.

Located at very common location of Sector 16 shopping complex, restaurant is quite busy in evening, a wait time of 20-30 mins is expected during peak hours. If you are planning to join with a larger group say 10-15 people, recommended to book your table and be in time there. During peak hours, the table service will be bit delayed as compared to...

This is the worst place to be booked for any function. Please don't waste your hard earned money on them. The most pathetic services i have received received ever.

Managed by two brothers i guess, one of them is still polite but another one is a bloody illiterate idiot. That rascle was even using abusive words while servicing his clients.

Unfortunately we got into their trap and paid a lumpsum booking amount. Later, on the eve of the occasion we realized and also our guest complained about there pathetic food. Also as the date of occasion will approach nearby , these goons will try to extract more money than what they have committed earlier.
