Payasam-Aromas of Dakshin — Restaurant in Haryana

Food is ok type, not much tasty. We visited 10 person here and we ordered variety of dosa ( rawa mushroom dosa, masala dosa, chitti dosa, gunpowder dosa and Upma filling dosa) also order payasam special platter, mushroom65, filter coffee, and idli65. About product review :- Masala dosa :- masala dosa is filling with potato. Not much tasty. Simple filling just like we give to toddler. Even toddler also refused to eat. (1/10) Rawa mushroom dosa :- Rawa dosa is not proper authentic rawa dosa. Filling is superb. But overall dosa is okay. (5/10) Upma filling dosa :- Upma filling dosa is overall average dosa. Base of dosa is better than other dosa. But filling is too much oily. Gunpowder dosa :- ok type dosa. No any innovative Filter coffee :- worst coffee. I give negative star to it Mushroom65 and idli65:- not properly cooked and pre station is not so good Platter :- uttapam is good, masala dosa is worst, payasam is good, idli is ok type, Upma is too much oily. Great authentic plus modern South Indian Restaurant.The food is great and authentic as well. The menu is very elaborate and wide. It's an authentic South Indian spot as well as modern since they have so many other cuisines food like beverages other than filterkaapi and rassam.No nonsense south Indian food.The vibes are so good and great. It is situated nearby fwwara chowk ahead of the lazzez restaurant. Built on the 2nd floor of the building. The view from here is so good and unique. I had classic masala dosa, onion uttapam,gulab jamun, and their must-try beverage Sharjah shake 😋. I quite liked the dosa that was crispy and did not get soggy due to masala and onion uttapam was delicious as well, gulab jamun was also fresh and hot, sambhar was also good not sour which is like and The Sharjah shake was the OG that was cold and quite yumm and worth it. Great service was provided by the butler and that was helpful as well for lazy like me. So yeah a big must-visit for having some authentic yet modern South Indian food. Edited: Everything went down from good to bad in such a short period of time. Definitely the chef is replaced, no taste in any item.

Previous Review: This city was always missing a decent south indian restaurant. Now this restaurant brings some flavour from far south to our city. Food is good and has authentic flavours to it. The staff is also very courteous. Very nice presentation of food prepared that adds a very authentic south Indian vibe to blend in.

The only thing which i feel as a con is the strong smell of freshener. The restaurant should smell like the flavour of spices and aromatic roast. But it was smelling more like a high end spa or retreat center.

I will recommend visiting this place for a south indian experience. Dosa, idli and vada are a must try. Dessert like Payasam and filter coffee...
