SHANGHAI1 Restaurant — Restaurant in Haryana

Hi, I was highly disappointed with my tonight 's dinner experience, I reached and asked for my preferred seat which was vacant however i was refused for the same ...then I typed my complete order on the tablet in one go and specifically told "MR SHIVAM SOOD" to get mocktails and starters first and then maincourse which should be obvious in restaurants still considering my start I told this specifically however i was disappointed again as " Ms ANU RAWAT " gets the maincourse , n when i objected then "Mr KAMAL MEHRA" came in picture N says "YES" and I realised that I am not coming again as they have no restaurant etiquette and poor communication skills, I had to tell them take it back ...get us drinks and starters first , also I requested to cook fresh maincourse n dun reheat this and serve...Finally we c our drinks coming however we got one out of 2 and 2nd drink comes after 10 mins of first served..i was feeling as I am sitting in a dhaba instead of so called NO 1 restaurant and we also get our starter after we are done with drinks ...I was trying to enjoy my last bite of my starter n MR KAMAL MEHRA suddenly asks...sir le aaun...i was utterly disgusted..overall big no no to...

This restaurant is amazing! It is probably one of the best restaurants available in Ambala Cantt. The service is top notch, food is ambrosial, multifarious food is available, decorum is eye-opening and a lot more!!!

But, here are some of the deficiencies:

1. Parking not available as it is built in a market,
2. Due to it's location, one would feel a little shy, dressed for dining,
3. Inside the restaurant, it is quite but, when getting out, the environment becomes a lot entropic, and 4)It is on the expensive side(One should expect this is a top notch restaurant)

But, definitely worth going if you have a little more...

If you want less spicy, make sure you tell 5 times that too to different people serving. My mistake, I only told to 2.

How hard is it to say upfront that the dish they themselves are suggesting would not be good for us. I ordered tikka, kadai chicken, noodles,, everything so spicy that I can’t tell the taste.

My son got upset stomach the same evening :(

Overall very bad experience. Maybe I would give them another chance but only After I get an apology note from them for ruining our experience.
