Kasauli cafe in hill — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

Pathetic attitude of the owner. Ordered a plate of Veg Momo. The service was quick. Had just one piece and realized that the filling was undercooked. Went up to the owner and politely informed him about the issue, handed him the plate and asked if he could get it cooked a bit more. He took the plate, threw it in the dustbin and asked me that I should pay him Rs. 30 and leave. He said momo are supposed to be like that and none of his customers have any problem with the momo. I told him that I'd had momo several times before and even had it a few times in his cafe but only this time it was undercooked and it would be great if he could just cook it for a few more minutes and serve it again and I'd pay the full price. He refused and said I should just pay Rs. 30 and leave. I was shocked at this attitude and also when I was talking so politely the whole time although it should have been the other way round considering he was the server and I was the customer. I just chose to leave the place without arguing as I clearly saw that he actually had no idea how to treat his customers. Never returning...

Disclaimer: The most unhygienic place you'll find in Kasauli. Even the roadside stalls have more cleanliness. To begin with, the cafe is located at a very convenient place in the market and looks cosy. That's all what is good about it. The owner of the cafe thinks highly of herself and puts down her staff in front of customers. She brought us plates and when she kept them on the table, she realised there was something on the top plate. She had the audacity to keep the plates on our table and then use her hand to take that thing off the plate. Due to this we had to avoid using the plates. That's the respect you will get when you visit the cafe. Moreover, she works in the kitchen with open hair (as you can see in one of the pictures). The food was pretty average. She did not pay much heed to the customers or their demands. I would recommend you all to visit other cafes around it but not go...

Nightmare to walk in to this place to dine. The restaurant has a nice decor from outside. Once you get in, you are into stingy and dirty place. People associated are money minded here. They're least bothered towards what they serve. They absolutely do favour by serving the food. Falafel was a lame joke. Burgers were soggy and patty was not fresh. Beverages order had no fizz in it. As soon as they serve, they are looking at the table so that we finish and leave quickly and they can gossip. Staff were exchanging verbal fight with the outlet manager. We left the food half eaten and they had smile on their faces as we paid full and didn't shout on them over the food quality, taste and portion served. Stale food left us with bad stomachache.
