OYO 22753 R Maiden — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

We can highly recommend Hotel R Maidens, which we visited in march 2018. The staff is warm-hearted and very friendly. The father of the chief of staff helped me with informations for my survey on the local history of Kasauli. ||If you chose Hotel R Maidens here a tip: Go down the outside stairs to the second lowest terrace (where we two had our rooms), see the breathtaking Himalaya hills during sunrise and watch the wonderful birds on the trees in front of this terrace with your binoculars (Literature: «Birds of the Indian Subcontinent», second edition, GRIMMETT, INSKIPP, INSKIPP). Be careful of the rhesus macaques, a problem in the towns and villages of Himachal Pradesh and other regions, don’t let them go into your hotel room. ||We also appreciated the fact that the hotel is in the centre of the village, near the market and the interesting two christian churches. If you would lodge in hotels far away from the centre, and in the direction of the valley, it could be quite dangerous for you as pedestrian in the evening, because the cars drive very fast, and the road ist narrow. Avoid this place. YOU CAN GET ANOTHER HOTEL NEAR BY THIS HOTEL. Balcony Room is only room which is worth stay, Try to get room having valley view. The Valley facing rooms give a beautiful view. Room service and food quality is very bad. Lots of staff available but nobody seems is willing to serve. Room service was very very poor. I ordered lukewarm water to drink in morning but they said no one is available to serve. I never got it. * Worst food I ever had. * No one came to clean the room. * Water supply is the main problem. It takes one hour to fill a bucket. Drainage system is very bad. Bathrooms stinks a lot. Hotel management was unfriendly & indifferent. Even the basic courtesies were missing. Disappointment all over. Water is also a main problem here. cleanliness was average staff was not friendly. check the room sheets, geyser and TV, switches before paying money. One of the worst hotel service I have ever seen in my entire life.. during our stay there was no hot water in the taps and when we asked to get it fixed we were told they cant do anything as there is some mechanical issue.. so if there is issue who is responsible for that ? We pay for our comfortable stay and thats what response we got from the manager of this hotel and after arguing he asked someone to get hot wqter buckets and we never got it in our room even after waiting for hours.. and when we were about to check out , hotel manager deepak and other manager whose namr i dont remember were so rude that they started arguing again that it is jot their fault and started telling this is what they are and shows their behaviour tiwqrds their guests… and when i asked contact number if the owner he refused to provide… totally disappointing.. never visit this hotel try some other good options if u want to...
