Queenie's Oven Green Cafe — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

This place is geniune in its pricing and the food they offer.the place is set up in a way that you can spend there hours together sipping on your tea and accompanied by yummy bakes .these are hand made by the woman who runs the place .her name us junno ,she is the one u can see cooking for u .I ordered paranta ,momos and a cup of black tea .it was so personalised by junno that I felt I was at home .sometimes the touristic approach to a restaurant makes u feel like u pay and u get exactly what u paid for .but a place like this ,u get in and the place invites u to stay as long as u want and when ur order reaches ur table you are happy because its great in quality and quantity .and above all u are left alone to enjoy ur feast .that's what I liked .they were there to assist me with my needs and left me the space where I could...

One star for the nice ambience, and one star for the sweet staff. But unfortunately it was disappointing apart from that. The place was filthy; we arrived around 9 am and sat down at a table that was covered in dried pieces of food that had probably been spilled by costumers the day before. The staff didn't notice when they took our order, and never wiped off the table while we were there. Instead, we took a couple of place mats from another table, but these looked dirty too, and after running a napkin over them, it was black. I visited Queenie's cafe during my stay in Sidhpur, Dharmshala. It is located adjacent to the Norbulingka Institute. The cafe looks beautiful, spacious and decorated with plants and books. I had delicious cafe latte with freshly baked orange lemon cake. I also had egg wrap and the food tasted so good that I got packed lunch as well.
