Read moreLocation - Lovely location near beas river within few meters from main Manali road. The iron bridge connecting to this hotel feels like adventure. The hotel is surrounded by snow clad mountains at one side and gusting beas river on other side. Solang valley is just 5 kms whereas Manali mall road is approx 6-7Kms from this hotel.
Privacy and Rooms - This is the first hotel i came across which provides you 100% privacy. Infact it feels like you are staying at home. The reception and restaurant is at 2nd floor hence you dont have to keep passing in front of staff and reception like other hotels. The rooms are quite spacious with clean linen and sparkling bright washrooms. They have 24x7 running hot water facility. Every floor has RO water facility which makes you independent of calling staff every time like other hotels. They have free WiFi which has good speed. They do have a good parking space for your car. There is a sitting area near parking which is surrounded by apple trees.
Food - There restaurant at 2nd floor has some wonderful menu. The restaurant has bike theme hence it feels unique. They do have outdoor seating as well where one can enjoy delicious food along with snow clad mountain sights and chilly weather.
They do provide a electric sheet under your bed which can be used if you feel colder. Moving to Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu area is very convenient from this hotel. The hotel is best for long stays, staycation and having family time. We loved our 3 nights stay in this hotel. They do have self checkout process where you just need to keep key on the door and leave. The privacy and space which they provide you is wonderful for family travelers.
I would strongly recommend this place for stay when you...
Read moreWould give zero stars if that was possible. Ordered a pizza, came with a tomato sauce with the smell of cheese. Service was just as terrible as the pizza was. You see, having artsy decor and live music does NOT compensate for the terrible service or food. Do not recommend.
Answer to the owner's reply below: 1) The review is not "false" if you have already admitted that we did visit your place. 2) We gave you two cards, HDFC & SBI, and both were not going through. If the cards were the problem it would have shown, "card declined", but it was showing a "subscriber issue". At lunch we had paid at across the river at Cafe 1947, and everything was fine with the cards. What upset us is the owner's behaviour at handling the issue. Instead of trying to find another way of dealing with the issue, he started to talk to us like we didn't want to pay. Very rude and crass way of speaking.
As for the pizza - the food is expected to already come in the best way the restaurant can serve it. You can write beautiful words in how you prepare the pizza/ingredients as much as you want, but when the pizza comes served in the form of a piece of cardboard with barely any tomato sauce or cheese on it - all those words become empty. Good marketing will only take you so far. Looks like all their energy has gone in beautifying the place to make it "Instagrammable" but have forgotten to actually do what they have opened their doors for.
Overall, if you want to feel like this place/owner is obliging you with their food/service, then perhaps this is the place for you. If not, then I recommend you to take another 5 mins and go across the bridge to Cafe 1947 - such friendly staff, great food and...
