I recently spent 12 days in Naggar, Himachal, and found myself eating at Soof every single day. From the first meal, I knew I had discovered something special. The food here is simply amazingāevery dish packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. In fact, the food was so good that I couldn't bring myself to try any other restaurant in the area.
The ambience of Soof is warm, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. It feels like a home away from home, a place where you can truly relax and enjoy your meal. The atmosphere is as inviting as the food, and itās the kind of place where you want to spend your evenings, unwinding after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings.
A huge part of what makes Soof so special is Zakir, the head cook and manager of the restaurant. Zakir is an incredible host, a true master in the kitchen, and a wonderful conversationalist. There is magic in his hands when it comes to cooking, and his friendly nature makes every dining experience feel personal and memorable. Heās someone who not only prepares food with passion but also ensures that you feel right at home. Zakir is the heart and soul of this restaurant, and I truly believe Soof is destined for great success with him leading the way.
My time in Naggar wouldnāt have been the same without my daily visits to Soof. Iām already looking forward to returning next year, and I sincerely hope to meet Zakir again and enjoy his incredible food. Iāll miss him and the amazing experiences he crafted for me during my stay.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis gem of a restaurant specializes in Awadhi cuisine, and every bite was a testament to the rich culinary heritage of the region. Their kebabs are simply out of this world ā tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth perfection. I tried Galouti and Seekh Kebab and each dish was crafted with precision and authenticity.
The service was just as impeccable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, always ready with recommendations and making sure we had a wonderful experience.
As for the ambiance, itās a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The thoughtfully designed interiors, combined with the serene vibe of Naggar, make SOOF an ideal spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. The earthy tones and cozy decor added a layer of charm that made the experience all the more special.
SOOF is not just a restaurant; itās a celebration of Awadhi flavors in the heart of the mountains. If youāre in Naggar, do yourself a favor and indulge in this delightful culinary escape. Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely disappointing experience. The food was far from authentic Mughlai cuisineābland, excessively greasy, and lacking the richness one would expect. The service was unbearably slow, and the staff showed little concern for customer satisfaction. We waited over an hour for our order, only to be served lukewarm and poorly cooked Nehari and Korma. Even worse, the mutton and chicken appeared to be of poor quality, likely stored in the freezer for far too long, as the texture and taste were completely off-putting. The kitchen itself was unhygienic, with flies buzzing around, which added to the unpleasantness. For the high prices they charge, I expected much better.
It's hard to believe this restaurant doesnāt have more negative reviews, given its appalling standards. I wouldnāt be surprised if this review gets deleted as well, considering the lack of honest feedback visible here. Definitely not...
