I have bee going up to maclodgunj for years and guess what a friend told me to go to this place and actually said. 'you are the arty farty kinds you will love it' Yes its true it turned out to be a delight. The ambiance: if I said amazing it would be an understatement. Its a visual delight epically for an artist or a graphic designer like me. the entry is quaint and no one would turn an eye but once you enter the sit out space its a joy ride. Every corner has a art piece you want to take a picture of. The collection of ceramic pottery and wall murals. Yes they do sell them too. The central cafe is a cosy place with cane sofas that you can crawl into. The delivery counter is over powered by the glass stand with the most amazing collection of breads. Actually u can just eat bread and nothing else its fresh as hell. The large long balcony sit out has a great view of the valley though the sun may get to you after a while. Then there is a small store that has an amazing collection of artifacts and cloths. Its a bit pricy but the quality design is truly designer. the food: the menu is limited so u don't spend hours trying to figure out what to choose. Very international spread. The breakfast menu has an interesting collection of English, German and Arabian egg recopies. I was a bit disappointed that they left bacon only for the pizza topping and not as an add on but that's ok. The choice of coffee and tea is brilliant think of any thing and its there. the people: Apart from the customers that looked rather serious and meditative not to mention a few monks too dropped in for a cup of tea. the staff is young happy and don't care if they have to even do a giggle to the most amazing music being played. A vibrant enthusiastic bunch bring joy to your visit.

The most cleanest cafe in Mcloedganj ♥️ Late post but it’s ok I guess.. I visited this place in 2023. In search of illitrati cafe, came across the ‘The Other Space Cafe’. This place was totally beautiful. However, I feel that their mini museum effect had made the space get short on sitting area. The food was good! I had mushroom sandwich( they had baked their own bread) which was just so good, carrot cake, and coffee omg! Loved it.. They serve it with a cute small cookie(they baked it on their own). The cutest part is that they have a very adorable dog over there. You can pet the dog and play with her as well. Their washroom was clean as well, which really impressed me. Oh yes! I also bought two cute post cards from their mini store and a lip balm. I must say that their lip balm has been then best lip balm ever …. If you come across this place, do buy the lip balm lol and yes their food is good. Do try their coffee and cakes! Staff is really adorable and sweet…. Will surely visit again♥️ They also have a space upstairs, where one can work and enjoy a short workation and enjoy the beautiful Mountain View. They provide that service at ₹500 I guess including coffee and free wifi. The place is worth a visit ⛄️

Nestled amidst the tranquil surroundings of Mclodgunj, The Other Cafe offers a delightful escape. During our work-from-home week, we stumbled upon this gem and were immediately captivated by its warm ambiance. The owners, a vibrant young duo, were incredibly welcoming and shared their fascinating life stories. Their friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. We spent several hours working peacefully, fueled by delicious pasta and coffee. The heavy rain outside, coupled with the gentle breeze, created a soothing atmosphere. The cafe's balcony provides stunning views of the Dhauladhar mountain range, offering a picturesque backdrop for work or relaxation. The thoughtfully curated artwork adds to the overall charm of the space. If you're seeking a peaceful and inspiring environment to work or simply unwind, The Other Cafe is an absolute must-visit.

The Other Space is a charming art gallery and cafe with a lovely ambience. We found ourselves a corner table in the balcony that overlooked the mountains. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and like us, you may just end up spending an entire afternoon soaking in the place, the view and the food. We ordered a pasta and were surprised to learn that the cafe makes their own pasta right from the scratch. It was absolutely delicious! Out of the beverages, please make sure you add the lemonade with mint to your order as it is simply outstanding. On a sweltering day in McLeodganj this magic potion can alleviate your spirits! We cannot wait to get back to The Other Space again!

Pretty good food and good view. I really liked the coffee and the way they served it. I ordered an iced latte. It was quite delicious and quenched my thirst. I also ordered two cappuccino which were really good. They even provided water to soothe the bitterness. The chocolate croissant was actually bad. It was flat and not that tasty. On the other hand the cinnamon roll was fluffy and quite scrumptious. Totally loved it. I really recommend this place if you visit dharmashala. Not only for its serene view but also for it’s amazing range of coffee and pastries. The staff were also incredibly amiable. You can also sit here for as long as you want. Overall, a good place
