I remember coming in for a mutton chop sprite with whatever money we could shell out (good old days). Fifth Avenue in sainikpuri itself became known because of the bakery. Now it's a popular hang out with a good menu and nothing is so costly that it burns your pockets. The food is good, the baked stuff is good, the cakes and pastries are good and they even have a fruit juice stall outside (although I have never tried it). I usually always buy bread and buns from here. They even deliver and I always remember to order a chicken burger or a chicken pizza to go. The ambience is as any bakery would be. The original portion is usually full and crowded, the outside is a good place to park yourself and if not, there is an extension place for sitting and eating. One thing is it's usually always hot inside and no ac. But this is a landmark place now and no one will ever forget 5th Avenue bakery so easily if it ever does happen to go.
