Abids Bistro — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Now, we wanted to go out for a nice dinner with family and this was rated as a good place and was close to home. Little did we know that this would turn out to be one of the worst dinners of our lives.

Firstly the hygiene rating given is wrong. The place is not hygienic. We had 3 instances which you can't term as hygienic at all.

The pasta jar: now, all these places who pretend to be fancy have food in a jar kept on sides. This food is not for consumption, but the hotels at least should be mindful that the food in their is not going bad. I saw a jar full of worms who were eating the pasta. That's not something that you want to watch before starting your dinner!

Hair: It is not common that people find hair in their food, but when you term the restaurant as "hygienic" you won't expect it. I was eating my curd with my rice and there it was. A hair floating in my curd. Not cool!!!

Dessert: After having a bad dinner, all that can turn the tables is dessert! After seeing so much, just wanted to complete my dinner with a pinch of sweetness. Well guess what! I wasn't going to get that also. A little dead friend paid me a visit. A deranged dry carcass of a cockroach was just clinging by my dessert!! OMG! That was it. I called the manager and like obvious, he was shocked. However, like obvious he said that the restaurant is HYGIENIC. Where is the hygiene in all this????

3 instances in less that 90 mins. Dude! Come on!!

The restaurant manager offered us 10% discount on buffet as we were "VEGETARIANS". 😂 Bill came to 800+ per person for buffet which shows 560 in Zomoto.

Final words: Don't go ! Waiters are very humble. But food...

Amazing place to visit with family and food quality and service is excellent. I am sure you will not get disappointed. This place is in a hotel in abids with awesome interiors and very well designed. What I personally liked is service and quality of food. Starters will be served on the table itself but in weekdays they serve only 3 starters (1 non veg and 2 veg) and I enquired about starters they replied in weekends they serve more starters so prefer visiting this place in the weekend if you are a starter person or else food is awesome you will enjoy there . The cream chicken soup which they served is at different level I never had such kind awesome soup anywhere else . Deserts there are numbers of variety from hot to cold ( Rasmalai and pastry is a must try ). The staff is professional over there and breads were immediately cooked and served at the time of main course on order. Everything was available till the restaurant was closing since we were the last to come out as we were enjoying the ambience and food over there. I saw the zomato reviews amd went for lunch buffet to abids bistro. Seriously i am very disappointed. The staff is not at all attending the customers. We have called them 2 or 3 times at last they attended us. We took 2 non veg buffet. Soups and starters served on table. 2 veg and only 1 non veg starter served. Chicken was not at all cooked. We choose buffet because we can have unlimited food of our own choice. But In the buffet section only veg varieties were kept. We have to ask for non veg varieties. They bought very late and nly chicken curry nd mutton biryani was served in non veg main course and that also limited only. Dessrts has many options but nothing was tasty In pastries we found insects in it. Very disappointed very bad experience. For this we paid 1200 😡😡😡for two people. Not worthful.. Better we can go barbeque it is better option for buffet and gazebo is also a good option.
