Stopped by this place during a visit to the historic Charminar area during the month of Ramadan and ordered their Pathar-ka-Gosht, Porotta, and Mutton Marag.
For the uninitiated, Pathar-ka-Gosht is a Hyderabadi speciality, where mutton chunks are cooked by heating it on a wide stone, on a flame. Marag is a thin soup prepared from tender mutton with the bone.

Read moreAfter hearing a lot about it, finally went there to try their ramzan special dishes. We went there at 8:30 in the evening and surprisingly there is no crowd at all. First we took their famous pattar ka ghosh and mutton seekh kebab. Pattar ka ghosh is really good, it was really tender and perfectly cooked. But the seekh kebab is not good. It was dry and hard. Then we took their mutton roast and malai chicken gravies along with rumali roti. Mutton roast was good and the malai chicken was average. They are charging Rs.320 for any mutton item, which is a bit expensive for the quantity they are giving. Chicken items are priced at Rs.180. The food stall is on the side of the road and not hygienic. They have a small place to...
