I have been a loyal customer of Barbeque Nation for over seven years, but my visit today was the worst experience I have ever had.
Booking and Wait Time: I had booked a table for 2:30 PM and arrived on time at 2:25 PM. However, the front desk was in complete chaos, with only one person handling bookings amidst a large crowd. The scene resembled a fish market with no proper management or organization. Despite having a reservation, I had to wait until 3:30 PM to get a table—an unacceptable delay.
Service and Starters: Once seated, things didn’t improve. Cutlery and water were not provided on time, and we had to repeatedly ask for them. Starters, which are usually the highlight of a visit, were poorly managed. Out of the promised 7–8 varieties, we only received 5, and even those arrived after persistent requests.
Main Course and Live Counters: Disappointed with the starters, we moved to the main course, only to find it wiped out. Plates and soup bowls were unavailable, and refills were either delayed or didn’t happen at all. The live counters were severely understaffed, resulting in long wait times and poorly prepared dishes.
Desserts and Cleanliness: The dessert section was equally disappointing. Most desserts were either finished, left half-eaten, or unclean. The lack of replenishment and cleanliness was shocking.

Visited BBQ Nation, Uppal on 25th July around 8 PM for a veg dinner buffet with a friend. The service started off well, and we were enjoying the starters.
But just as we moved to the main course, we were horrified to see a rat running around the dessert counter! 🐀🍰
We immediately informed the staff. The manager apologized and said the rat may have come from the nearby KFC, assuring us it would be handled. He requested us to continue our dinner — but how could we?
👉 After seeing a rat near food, we were in no condition to eat even a bite. Our appetite was gone, and our minds were full of unsettling thoughts about where else the rat may have roamed or what else it may have tasted. 🤢
💔 What hurt even more was that the staff seemed more concerned about avoiding a negative review than acknowledging the actual health risk and emotional damage caused to the customers. That response spoke volumes.
We paid the full bill of ₹2,212 for 2 people (₹929 + GST per person) and left with half-filled stomachs and a completely disturbed mind.
💭 Honestly, we could have had dinner from a local vendor for ₹200 or less — but we chose BBQ Nation expecting high standards, hygiene, and care for customer well-being. Instead, we left shocked and disappointed.
