Captain Cook Restaurant — Restaurant in Hyderabad

In the world of food options and gastronomy, we are usually in search of new places but this came out to be diamond in our yard. Yes! People from outer city and stations can just have a treat. Definitely one would come again with a new fellow parter to taste the joy. Also the hungry saviours would delivery it to your door step. Had a great food experience over here. This come from the chain of Green bawarchi hotels.

Appolo Fish. Had an impression of not to try sea food every where. But this made me wroung, this starter was so good. That was not so dry and loved the taste.

Veg Manchuria It was a usual item but loved the way that was presented, not so crispy and not too soft. Would be best option for a veg starter.

Chicken Malai Kebab. Shocked to see the chicken pieces, they were bigger than the usual size. They were in cubes. The flavour was all over and recommand to have it when served hot.

Grill Chicken At first the colour wasn’t that pleasant or appetixing, but the taste made the quote right “appearance can be deceiving”. Too good that I had it without any rumali or bread.

Non-Veg Platter. This was a combination of chicken starters and prawns. The tagdi kabeb was great, well cooked and crispy.

Chicken Tikka. Expected this to be with gravy but this turned out to be really good. This place can be bookmarked for a chicken lover.

Butter Chicken (Star dish) The colour was yellowish than regular butter chicken. But the taste was great, good quanity with boneless chicken pieces. Enjoy that with butter naan.

Paneer butter masala. This was spicy than regular, but throughly enjoyed it. The paneer was soft and gravy was thicker than usual.

Chicken dum Biryani Usually prefer mutton biryani over chicken, but here I more loved the chicken biryani. Severed hot and can get the aromo and dum in every morsel.

Mutton Biryani. The quantity was good and you also get mini biryani enough to serve one. Got a nalli and that really good indeed.

Double Ka Metha. The sweet was cold and apt to be had after a heavy meal. Best double ka meatha had recently. Not just the sugar soaked bread but also get to have khova mixed with dry fruits. That was great.

Irani Chai. Being a hyderabadi usually have tea daily and this place would be an adda for me soon. Loved the tea with malai. So ordered another tea as well.

Totally a place for a complete family and all people with good food options. The service was great. The family session ambience was good. You have chai , faluda and take away at the ground floor. Easily accessible from metro and...

Captain Cook' is a multi-cuisine restaurant that serves wide varieties of Mughlai and Chinese dishes . Located on the busy lanes of Musheerabad, this place is quite famous amongst locals. With options of regular, air conditioned and family dining sections, this place is always buzzing with a long queue of patrons waiting for their seat. We were invited for a blogger’s session and the review for the place is as below:

The Grilled Chicken had moderately spiced juicy chicken pieces with a perfectly charred skin that went well with the thick green chutney served alongside. The scrumptious Apollo fish had spicy batter coated fish ,deep fried and tempered with curry leaves, garlic and slit green chillies that adds a slight zest to the dish. The spicy Chicken Majestic had batter fried shredded chicken breasts, deep fried and tossed in signature south indian spices which was delectable. The creamy 'Butter Chicken Masala' is worthy of a signature dish at this restaurant that went with the hot fluffy tandoori naan.The spicy ' Chicken Chatpata' was another noteworthy dish that is a must order for the sheer simplicity, yet the depth of flavours in the dish. The 'Mutton Biriyani' and 'Chicken Biriyani' had slow cooked succulent pieces of mutton and chicken in a layered aromatic basmati rice which is not to be missed. The 'Kaddu ka Kheer' , 'Double ka Meetha' and 'Qubani ka Meetha' were all sinfully delicious. The 'Irani Chai' served at the end of the meal , is something you shouldn't miss at any cost. Recommendations: Majestic Chicken, Apollo Fish,Mutton Biriyani,Butter Chicken with Butter Naan, Double ka Meetha, Irani Chai.

Visited this place for lunch on sunday, its on the main road of musheerbad and they have the first floor as a very normal cafe,but the 2nd floor was ac hall and they do have separate seating for families and the ambiance was well maintained.

$Grill chicken $ Started off with their grill chicken, such a well roasted grill chicken and the upper layer of the chicken was very crisp and the inner meat was also well cooked as we see at many places that tend to be raw.

$ Majestic chicken $ The chicken tasted well, but usually majestic chicken have the pieces separated from another, but here it was like one sticking to the other, that could be improved a bit.

$ Apollo fish $ Fish was too good, it was very tender and soothing.

$ Butter chicken $ Butter chicken was also delicious and it tasted really good with their naans.

$ Chicken chat pata $ I just loved the chicken chat pata as it was spicy and the tiny chicken pieces In them were too good.

$ Biryani $ Have tried out their both chicken and mutton biryanis, the quantity they are providing for the price was looked more and coming to the taste you get the feel of the asli Hyderabadi biryani and the meat was also very tender and mouth watering.

Desserts were moderate as they dont have their inhouse ones, they do buy from other vendors. We tried their 3 desserts double ka meetha, kaddu ka kheer and qubani ka meetha.

After such amazing food, you should definitely try out their chai. We just loved their chai and we would definitely turn out here for their chai.
